Monetary Input Channels

What are the monetary input channels in EVE? Mission ISK rewards and NPC buyers are the two I've identified so far; what other ways does CCP have to put high-powered ISK into the system?

Bounties and insurance are two other HUGE ones. I hear incursions pay quite well.

I haven't gotten into an incursion, yet. Where's the money come from there? And are the insurance premiums/payouts static or have they been known to shift slightly?

I have a few friends that claim to have made over 1bil in a single day doing ~8 hours of incursions. I assume that's close to an "ideal" case, but it can be done.

CCP claims insurance pay outs go something like this, but I don't think there are any hard public numbers. 60% * AVG hull price for the past 90 days.

One does pay into the insurance, so it's a partial sink, but if your ship goes pop, then the payout nullifies that by quite a bit.

But where does the money come from? Is there a turn-in? Do the wrecks drop cash? If it's just parts then there's no monetary creation, just flow. If it's a turn in then it would fall under the mission reward category.

As for the insurance, if it's an acturially dynamic system then, again, there's no monetary creation, just flow.

Insurance is a direct generator of isk. Yes, paying for insurance removes isk from the game, but unless the insurance expires multiple times, more isk enters than leaves due to insurance.

The isk is gained in forms of direct wallet increments from bounties when killing most forms of NPCs, from concord payouts again directly to your wallet from incursions upon site-completion aswell as NPC buy orders from market(Mostly overseer goods, tags, tokens, that kind of thing, and certain trade goods).

Insurance is only an input if it's unlinked to the loss ratios. I can't find any supporting documentation to indicate how they've got that system rigged either way. The two assumption paths are equally valid. Either the premiums and payouts are simply coded as monotonic functions of ship price or they're complex functions based on actuarial loss ratios. Given the general level of economic sophistication in the game, I'd not put it past CCP to go to the trouble of doing it the hard way.
