Why the "Save Jita" Campaign Failed

1.) RR gangs obviously work well Vs Alpha strikes, that's their main counter in null sec right!
2.) I'd think that ecm burst frigs would have a limited effect
3.) The only counter to an Alpha fleet is another alpha fleet or capital ships, so in reality, they should have brought remote sebo instalocking snipers. In doing so, they would have lost no sec status. Even then, they would need a great deal of numbers in which I don't think they ever had.



So their tactics were wrong, and your appraisal of tactics seems equally wrong. Why am I the only thinking creature playing this game?

My objective of kill mail whoring was successful. The real save jita campaign was successful too it's also known as concord. You really think people care enough to protect neut freighters and blow up their ships without the immediate satisfaction of a kill mail? Jita was 99% goons and spectators but keep pretending you totally DESTROYED jitaRoll

there was kill whoring on their side too only they could go in kill 10k ships (less than 1000 of which are targets) and call that a victory

If you actually thought that any of the folks like more tears had any intention of stopping anyone from doing anything and that their goal wasn't just to get a ton of KMs then you're pretty dumb.

The real reason JITA still stands and will forever is the destruction of MORALE by the consolidated psychological warfare efforts of High SEC carebears. For as long as JITA stands the wound will fester. The bite of the Gerrymandering of 10000 votes will pustulate and fester. Like herpes it will never heal, With each load of inbound t2 the high sec care bear will be thrust once again into the face of the defeated. HUlks piling up in obsolescene with t1 Covetor mocking as minerals go up and up. Every client boot into a field of asteroids will tear the memory out of the dark recesses that hide the likes of startling images of women rejected by other men until dawn. The horror of seeing them awake, the confusion realizing they are gnawing at her own arm to get away. These are the corners of the mind, normally tucked away in the dark that will be illuminated by the bright spectre of JITA ETERNAL burning bright in the nightmare that never goes away. JITA forever.

Why would anyone want to save them ?
All I can say is Honor Tank incident, (nobody was going to save him either)

Any hi-sec'r that showed up in a PvP ship was more interesting in having a good time.

Some of the kills where just odd.
Like the 2 freighters killed minutes apart from 2 different alliances both carrying exactly 10 Hulks and 1 Orca.
Not sure what the plan was there....
