I see 3 in the store, iClone, Dusk, FlySafe. Was wondering what the general consensus is on which is the "best"

Since no one replied, I downloaded all 3. All 3 have some of the same basic features such as skill queue monitoring. Each also has their own unique features that I “desperately need”. Here are my comments of features of each that I liked (there may be other features another player may like but I don't notice missing or don’t use so I won't mention here):

iClone
HAS: You can view your skill Queue, current skills trained so far, skillpoints, character attributes, training implants, and your assets and where they are in Eve. You can view your current orders, and wallet, and wallet transactions. You can browse all in game items/ships and see info/specs on them. It has a nice map feature and jump planner.
HAS NOT: Cannot read Eve mail. There is no skill plan feature that I could see. You cannot view Eve News, patch notes, Dev Blogs, and other Eve info.

Dusk
HAS: You can view your skill Queue, current skills trained so far, skillpoints, character attributes, and training implants. You can see your wallet balance. It has a skill plan feature. You can read Eve mails (a nice feature!)

HAS NOT: Besides your wallet balance you cannot see any transactions. You cannot view your assets, ships, items nor where they are in Eve. You cannot browse all items/ships in Eve like you can with iClone. There is no map feature or jump planner. You cannot view Eve News, patch notes, Dev Blogs, and other Eve info.

FlySafe
HAS: You can view your skill Queue, current skills trained so far, skillpoints, character attributes, and training implants. You can view current Eve News (including FW news), patch notes, Dev Blogs, and other Eve info including Eve server status and info on all skills (separate from character skills listed). You can see a ship gallery with all specs (this is a pretty cool feature!).

HAS NOT: Besides your wallet balance you cannot see any transactions. You cannot view your assets, ships, items nor where they are in Eve. You cannot browse all items in Eve like you can with iClone (but you can view ships in the gallery). There is no map feature or jump planner.

All in all, they each have something I “can’t live without” (so to speak). It’s kind of annoying to have to have 3 apps to get all these features, especially since one of them I paid for to get rid of the ads. I’d like to see an app that has all of these features in one. Especially the ability to read Eve mail, Eve news, Dev Blogs, Patch notes, view all in game items, view your own assets and where everything is, along with orders, wallet transactions, contracts, map, jump planner, skill planner, and any other feature listed in one of the apps that I am forgetting right now.

(DISCLAIMER: If I am wrong about one of the above comments please let me know and I will update it)

Edit:
I just tried EveUniverse
HAS: You can view your skill Queue, current skills trained so far, and skillpoints. You can see your assets and where they are in Eve. You can view your current orders, wallet balance, and wallet transactions and journal. You can browse all in game items/ships and see info/specs on them. You can view current Eve News (including FW news), patch notes, Dev Blogs, and other Eve info including server status. It has a skill plan feature. You can read Eve mails. You can see your contracts. You can also see some kind of POS info and industry jobs info (never had a POS or industry jobs myself so not sure what this looks like). And it also has a cool fitting tool.

HAS NOT: I don't see attributes listed or skill implants, however the training queue is still accurate. It does not have a map or jump planner feature that I could see.

In short, EveUniverse seems to be the best all round Eve app for the iPhone. It has everything the other 3 have and more, except for the map, jump planner, and attributes list. The other things it includes all in one app more than make up for this.

Get the EvEUniverse one aswell.

it has a fair share of services

Including :
Fitting service / loadout
Market updates
Skills
Skill planner
Mail
Assets
Pos'es
Market transactions
Market Journal
Market Orders
Contracts
Industry Jobs

I haven't tested it much yet though, since I started out with IClone...and IClone
pretty much have all the stuff I need.

Thanks, I didn't see that one in the initial "Eve" word search in the app market. I will try that one out as well. Maybe it is the "one" that has all the features I want in one app.

eve universe has to be the best since it has the most services. iclone imo would be 2nd place since it does have a map and jump planner.

wasn't there one of them that you could look at both k-space and w-space on? I think it's EVEuniverse. Thats the only reason i like that one. Otherwise, iClone master-race.

I use EVEUniverse which looks very handy to me.
It has a skill planner too, that can import files from evemon, plus a lot of other nice things.

Although a jump planner might be terribly handy also now that I think of it.

I use iClone and iClone Lite. I use iClone Lite when I just want to see my skill queue and don't want to wait for all the other data that the full iClone pulls.

I like using EveUniverse and iClone Lite. There are a few others out there such as Dusk that I also have on my phone, but rarely use. EveUniverse's skill planner does not take implants into account which puts Dusk better at that, but being able to import your EveMon skill plan is handy.

Updated above summary with my notes on EveUnverse. It does indeed seem to be the best one! Thanks!

I use EVEUniverse on my iPad, havn't used the others. Like the 24hr skill queue warning.

Hmmm iPhones seem to be covered pretty well, I'm going to have a look and see if there's any useful android equivalents, only one I've used before is Aura which was pretty good IRC.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I can tell you that eve universe for the ipad is an outstanding app. I haven't tried it on the iphone though.

I have dusk on my phone but I don't use it much to be honest. It does a good enough job of allowing you to keep an eye on your skill queue, but that's about all I can say about it.

EVEUniverse hands-down. I also have iClone Lite because it has a nifty Jump Planner, which EveUniverse doesn't have.

I really wish EveUniverse gets a blog-reader like Capsuleer had, kept me updated with all the shenanigans happening in the game while I was on the can Cool

Another vote for EvEUniverse, looks great on the Ipad too.

Anyone ever remember Capsuleer? Used it a few years ago, but un-installed it when I took a break from the game, but it's no longer on iTunes :-(
