Macintosh

Hi,

Not played EVE for over a year. Coming back now. I've moved over from Windows to mac and trying to install the client.

I download the Client fine, but when i try to install the DMG file i get the error "Image Data Corrupted" so i can't install anything.

I then tried the 3 part download. but when i click it it says i can't open the file "EXE" with any programme i have.

I've downloaded the Client 5 times so i know there can't be a problem with the download.

Im using a 6 month old Mac book Pro (Top Model).

Anyone know a way around this? I don't really want to run the game in Boot-Camp.

Edit: the line i get is -

The following disk images couldn't be opened.
eve.premium_007867_365966-mac.dmg image data corrupted



Edit 2: if i skip the image read part of the install. it brings up the menu to drag eve into the apps folder. then in starts but i get this message at about 500MB

The finder can't complete the operation because some data in "eve online" can't be read or written. (Error Code - 36)
