I was thinking, having seen all the lottery's and Texas Hold'm, and of course Hulkagedion, I wondered why no one had set up races.

Now you may be wondering why is a nood posting such absurdity? Well look at the forum index I have seen not one forum for races so my idea is this:

All those wishing to take part in the races would join a common corporation so that if they enter hi-sec they can fire upon each other with Concord interference.

There are system races given out via bookmarks with a representative at each check point to ensure that the racers are passing each check point, what time, what positions etc.

Next: there would be cross system races were after a certain time during these races: if the racers are taking too long "enforcers" would chase after the ships in the last places and "eliminate" them from the race.

After that cross constellation races done in teams, you can't expect someone to keep racing forever, and I have no wish to be sued for any reason.

It would have varying scales of prizes ranging from a few hundred-thousand isk per race to 40 or 50 billion isk for the larger ones.

The largest races, those only held once a year would pit sixteen teams against each other to race from one end of the cluster to the other. The prize? A custom Titan fitted with faction ammo, the best rigs, implants etc.

I was thinking that there would class restricted races, frigates, destroyers, blockade runners that sort of thing.
