As I understand it, the reason CFC now owns most of the tech is because someone got greedy, violated a treaty with CFC, and attacked their tech moons...but of course wasn't able to withstand the consequences of that act: CFC saying, "OK, we'll take it all then."

The one thing I like about EvE that makes it so different from everything else out there is that actions have consequences. If someone can muster the power base to hold off enemies and take their stuff when they attack you, then they can actually do exactly that. How many times do you need to push the enemy into their home turf, massacre them there, and just have game reset to neutral every day before you get bored?

In EvE if someone is smart enough, powerful enough, etc...they can force the game to go their way. The object of others then is to either side with them or work to tear down their power base. Maybe it will work....maybe it won't. Since when is crying and asking for rules to change a strategy?? Sounds like someone needs some genitalia...either kind would do.

FYI The Mittani is one of the most vocal proponents of a technetium nerf. He spoke out against the bottleneck in Dec 2009 as a bad idea when it was implemented (#35 of his TTH column), and numerous times since then. He has specifically lobbied the devs that it is literally ******** and bad for the game that an alliance can earn so much isk just by holding a particular region of space. One of the underlying reasons for the Jita interdiction is that there is so much money coming out of technetium that it is hard to find legitimately useful things to spend it on. One thing that works is massive reimbursements to goons for losing ships...(about 50 billion spent this weekend so far)
...or paying 100 million isk to anyone in the game that kills 10 hulks... (starts tonight at midnight)

paying 100 mil to someone that kills 10 300 mil ships seems underpaid
100 mil for 3 bil of destruction

according to the hulkageddon page yer not totally right......

What they should have done is make the alloys in drones refine into moon tech instead of taking them out all together!

1. Salvage the hulks (T2 salvage
2. Most hulks can be killed with 2 t1 fit catalysts (5-6 mil isk for two)
3. Mackinaws can be killed with one catalyst
4. HAG happened fine without the bounties, this is just a bonus.

Proof or it did happen!

Hulks generate to much isk when blown up in the form of salvage and mods to later be sold....its practicly risk free when you take two destroyers worth just a few million and recoup tens of millions since CONCORD doesn't prevent them before they attack (nobody attacking the destroyers to stop them as well) and you can't prevent a hulk from getting ganked because of their ****** mod fittings and no sense illogical +asteroid gank mining upgrades increase CPU while +damage mods for three turrets and 1 missile weapon systems do not increase CPU . Nerf Hulks to have no salvage and loot drops! Hulks are now fixed.

also the point of Hag in the past HAS been bonuses for killand and prizes... that was the POINT wasnt it?
Oh I know the pretend point was bots at first and then pretending only tears, then the tinfoil about selling hulks
