My first attempts to scan since the latest updates. In a couple of different wormholes, I have had the same problem - when I scan a signature down and the result is over 25%, the signature disappears entirely. This happens only on my Macbook Pro, not on my PC.

Check the filter settings for the result list. at 25%, the signature type becomes known and can be filtered, meaning that it may disappear from the result list at that point if you are using a filter that is set to not show signatures of a certain type (and all 5 types are off by default).

Because those options were added later on, and would not be active by default for filter settings already existing at the time.

Maybe I'm being a bit thick here, but it seems to me that if this is how the filters work they're utterly useless.

What exactly is their purpose?

You can turn the show filters back onCool Then it will work as normal.
