[OBSERVED] Burn Jita Strategy

So TEST is planning an assault on Jita tonight. I did some legwork and observed following strategies the last cupple days:

WATCH YOUR BACK
They have a spawn point / bookmark 60km behind 4-4. There's a container, I've seen numerous ships warping there and logging off. DONT HANG OUT AT DOCK you're an easy target from there, and might have problems targeting them because the station is in your way to click em.

GOON SALVAGERS
They have several industrial ships and frighters with them looting wrecks. If you wanna hit them where it hurts (the wallet) gank those first.

DONT HANG OUT AT DOCK
Last cupple days TEST and goons were not ganking at 4-4. They were roaming the stargates, possibly a scout at 4-4 to tell em where a shiny cargo is heading. TiDi makes for easy observing. Theres usually 30 Hurricanes hanging out at PERIMETER GATE for whatever reason. Theyr not stationary, I watched them all warp to another stargate and by the time i got there it was empty but a lot of concord ships - FOLLOW THE BLOB

Thats all I got for now

I think this is about denying profit to everyone else and possibly some kind of hazing for recruits.

Actually, there are also watching for incoming freighters a few systems out. They are at the Perimeter Gate quite often, but just because that's where most of the stuff is coming from.

Because they can survive even 2 battleships for over 2 minutes......CONCORD takes care of matters LONG before that.

Well skilled has 70,000 + effective hp

Not as much as a freighter, but holds considerably less.

Indeed this is the only Orca kill I could find in Jita and it's too early for the event. http://www.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12947075

it doesn't matter what you say or do, there are so many truly moronic idiots in Eve that they will still try and undock in their freighter loaded with faction PoS modules and 10 plexes...

I was outside 4:4 for a total of 4 hours now (throughout the course of the event) on clean up duty. Didn't once get shot at.

Also spent time roaming the gates, but man it takes forever to warp across system.

Some NPC corp guy was hoovering up the wrecks we made in perimiter last night in his noctis on the jita gate until the FC spotted him. Waited for him to get almost full, then we popped him and scooped all the loot and salvage he'd collected for us. Which was nice.

He came back though, did it again in another noctis, so we killed him again. He lost 3 noctis within 40mins and a lot of isk before he learned and came back in a velator. lol

Um - my hauling alts Orca has 287 k EHP - and that's not some weirdly pimped bait setup or any implants - just T1 rigs and T2 mods - with heat and a fleetbooster it's well above 330 k - so well above a freighter.

Burn Jita was ok but for every tornado on a gate there were two noob ships sitting next to it watching what was happening.

really shite that at least half the ships in space were noob ships eating popcorn

I havent been there in months why is it so hard for ppl? You cant put off the **** you got to do for the weekend so you wont lose your freighter? There was at least a month lead in on this lol If you lose a ship to this you are stupid and deserved it

Thus the 70,000 + to cover those less skilled. Sorry for my accuracy.

Well - it has above 70k with an all 0 character and no fitting. Anyway - a moderately tanked Orca will have more EHP than a freighter.

Add to that the fact that the corp hangar, ore hold and ship maintenance bay can't be scanned by players and wont drop anything when killed and it's quite obvious why relatively few of them have been ganked.

Also, I'd assume most Orcas have a tank of some sort. Personally, I always fly mine max tanked becasue I never transport anything in the cargohold for above reasons (well - maybe some trit or cap-boosters at best), so cargo extenders and rigs don't make any sense for me.

There is nothing you can do to save your shiny ships, if we want you dead you will die. Submit to your goon overlords or stop undocking.

This is true all of the time in Eve.. don't understand people having tears over it.. If you can't afford to lose it, don't undock it.

Hell this is better than most of the time on Eve, we had a month warning ahead of time.. If only all gankers were so nice to give us a timetable :)
