Highsec - Small POS

Lowsec - Small and med POS

Nullsec&W- Small, med and large POS

I find it pretty funny that large portion of large POS´s have been 'up' for many years in high sec. It´s too static, and basically blowing up large POS in highsec is unrealistic. Industrial corporations can´t actually have real wars in highsec, they only can fight for belts, but not from moons and research slots.

Lowsec is the same, large faction POS´s for T2 goo stuff. By banning large towers from lowsec you give room for more dynamic fighting in lowsec. It would require more manpower to hold key locations, and at the same it would give chance for smaller group to kill tower faster if opponent gets caught on 'sleeping'.

To compensate the loss of total research slots in highsec, ccp should increase the number of NPC slots, but not on 1:1 ratio ofc.

Shake up the server CCP! Bring it up to life again!

It's a bit stupid that you only need a good faction standing to anchor a POS, not to keep it there. Just flag the whole thing if your corp dips below the required standing.

Also some BS/BC-sized POS-basher with XL guns and some spidertanking bonus instead of siege-mode, to serve as a baby-dreads in empire.

And then when those ridiculous dec-shield shenanigans end, high-sec POS will be decimated.

An unanchored POS should "wither" without maintenance. Maintenance should be expensive enough so you think twice to anchor it. If unmaintained for say 24h you can shoot it without being flagged nor will the owners be alerted that it's being attacked(Camera Drones malfunctioning lol).

Instead you should be able to earn a Roger Wilco badge for keeping space clean and healthy.

EDIT: I don't like size restrictions tied to the security of space.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Someone in another thread said salvaging POSs after they are abandoned for a while.

I thought that idea was *******-awesome.

hopefully once ccp and there instant death ray for ships that get a gcc we can then get them to remove the restriction on capitals in high sec as there only reason they where removed was cause of the fact that they can tank concord so more ships are needed to kill them which increase server load

try using punctuation and/or whitespace sometime!

also capitals in hisec would be insanely dumb

Pretty much this there was a time a dread was an exceptional asset and poses were taken out by fleets of battleships. Imagine that.

Wait, players selling specialized services on the free market to make goals more achievable through player interaction? This sort of thing must not be permitted in EVE! CCP ... Do something!

If you have a 5k man alliance with no capitals, you are doing it wrong.

1. learn to fly battlships or tier three Battlecruisers.
2. make friends in Eve who can also fly them.
3. Wardec target.
4. get thermos of coffee, energy drink or booze and siege POS.
5. Watch POS explode and procede to loot modules.
6. Realize how foolish your whinning sounded and go about spending newly aquired loot.

If enjoyable, rinse and repeat.

Disclaimer: As someone who used to live in hisec and have their POS's reduced to wreckage I have seen first hand that it is more than doable. Welcome to the wonderful world of structure bashing. I believe the torp raven was a favorite weapon of those I ran afoul of.

Blowing up a Large POS in high-sec can be done very easily and it is done all the time.

You just have to have the time or the player power to do it.

Yeah! Let's change some insignificant little detail about the game to satisfy someone's daydreaming over a bottle of tequila. Great idea.

No, they arent gonna nerf highsec to make you happy. move on lol

Even the incursion killing nerf (its so funny such a small change screwed them over. Shows you how risk/reward avrese that crew was eh) was just a balance

Instead of nerfing High-Sec POSs, why not just actually add in drops from destroying towers/mods. This would make it worth wild for people to take the time to dec and kill abandoned POSs in high-sec.

1. Dec a defenseless, shut down POS that can't fight back.
2. Since tower isn't active, it isn't rewarding the owner
3. ??? <-- what to do what to do
4. !!!! <-- relizaiton that target is easy
5. PROFIT! you lazy ass players. Its an isk sink, dec the tower, get some friends together (abou 10 or so) and just blast the tower down in a few hours. Don't like it, to much work, it being highsec and since its not mining moon goo or building capitals? Why bother...there are plenty of other moons and a few extra jumps are not that big of an inconvience.
