Have goons been banend from MMO's in the past?

It is not going to happen in Eve. That is clear with the statements of Jon Landers.

It is a simple question: have other MMO's banned goonswarm?

They have been on Second Life. Only because they torment the crap out of the furries there. Why? Are you a furry IRL?

No, because Goonswarm is an EVE Online alliance. The only game that I know of that has ever mass-banned groups of players originating from the Something Awful forums is Second Life.

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration

No, because Goonswarm is an EVE Online alliance. The only game that I know of that has ever mass-banned groups of players originating from the Something Awful forums is Second Life.

He might mean something awful forums. Or maybe he's one of those chaps that think SA is a forum for EVE.

Or who even knows, why does it matter, we ALREADY know we're terrible capsuleer pilots.

Nope and they wont be. Reddit guys are too nice and sweet so they wont get mass banned either. /v/ however not as organized have been banned from every single game they play, even EVE.

yea in some areas just mentioning the word goons in second life will get a perma ban with quickness... they don't give a donkey's arse about fairness...

lindens will ban you for being near the wrong crowd over there.

super strict

course that's why it's a small niche

@ OP - unlikely for it to happen here, at least in large numbers. Even I consider that to be 'too far' by CCP.

Thank you, I only had rumors about that. SL is essentially FTP for the average person (or very low cost), so it made sense.

Unfortunate really, you were actually doing some good work there, but went a bit too far in places. 6/6/06 kinda nailed things too. And now its shrinking at an increasing rate, even most of Jesse was for sale when I stopped by a few weeks back. What?

They got banned on what was supposed to be a hardcore pvp server in Age of Conan for spawn-camping newbies. Guess the game wasn't as hardcore as the designers thought.

People don't hate Goons because you're "evil"
People don't like you because you're annoying, you guys cry when you don't get your way, you troll/name call like children, oh and you're annoying. Let me know if I left anything out.

But if the Goons were banned from EVE online it would destroy the game and even there haters would agree on that one
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.
