...fallen asleep in space or gone AFK on a wormhole? I only ask because I really dont want to be the only guy Lol

One time I made a safe inside of a planet, and warped to it. I thought "hell, I can go afk to get a drink real quick. No one will find me". Well, I come back and I have a 6 man gang on me teaching me a lesson.

Anyone else have these facepalm moments?

I think the worst I've done so far on my main was ending up in a very deep phone convo.

I came back, and my Probes had died (time limit), and I had no extras.

Ive fallen asleep with combats out waiting for a guy i was stalking to go to his safe.
They timed out by the time i woke up and i only had cores left... obviously at this point my target was sitting in space with probes out....

We here in Sudden Buggery have a whole set of decorations devoted to fools who screw the pooch in amusing ways while down the rabbit hole. The Legion of Lethe is awarded to, viz. guys who pass out drunk while POS bashing and get stranded by a timed-out wormhole connection with no probes on board.

That said, he did solo the POS thereafter and spent a couple of days bashing the offlined mods, collecting killmails, until somene gave him the Hisec Express.

My first week in the corp C3 I was the only one online, so scanned out to HS, jumped in my drake and warped to 20km on the wh, hit approach, minimized eve to chat on skype to a buddy, came back and a Tengu and Legion were about to deal the final blow. In my confusion they managed to pod me. They convoed me to find out what the hell I was up to, approaching a wh. Must have felt sorry for me, was not even 2 months old, as they each gave me 20mi,l a BM in hs back to the wh and an extensive lesson on what not to do in WH's Oops. Wish my corp had been as thorough when they let me in.

I have been on many POS bashes where people fall asleep, we get jumped, fleet warps off, and the "sleepers" end up in HS.

Once I accidentally uninstalled the EVE Client with probes out...

...

I managed to reinstall, update, and sign back in with 2 minutes left on the probes. Roll

i once had to self-destruct a noctis with 40+ ribbons and the rest of the loot from clearing 15 C2 sites. sad day.

I forgot a PI alt in an indy at a customs office while multiboxing, idk if that counts as I was awake and sober. Hilariously enough I dscanned the idiot Badger and was about to jump him, and only then realized who it was.

Our newest recruit lost his salvaging Cat and pod when he went to open the door for pizza delivery- at the exact moment when I announced hostiles in system.

A long time ago in a wh far away, I lost a badger Mk II filled with wh loot, 700mill, two years or so ago. And I didn't even mind couse i was loaded. A noob with money, what can you do?

When it comes to phailtarding I beat you all hands down,

Back when WHs first started, I didn't have a clue. Green behind the ears but learned a couple of valuable lessons.

I'd been in a WH with the corp I was in to get out of a wardec then decided to go out on my own with another couple of people. So I packed up my whole life into an orca and set out to the wild black yonder. The sensible thing to do to setup a tower is to use a cloaky hauler or if you can't fly one of those cheap ones with a cloak on it and sit waiting out the anchoring timer so you could fuel it. nooooo not me. I found a nice place and warped my orca to 0, dropped the tower and litterally 30 seconds before the timer ended, this happened

then the next day I thought they'd gone so I warped to take down the tower and got presented with this

you can't get much more phail than that :)

Left my alt on the lowsec side of a worm hole for 2 HOURS in a noctis. Alt tabbed to him and he was still sitting there chilling. Was in http://evemaps.dotlan.net/system/Hegfunden Doesn't get much traffic so I lucked out!
