I posted a petition over a week ago now about concord warnings not showing up when you were about to unknowingly commit a crime. Still didn't recieve a message or anything on it, maybe you guys need to check your logs a little faster.

So there I was, thinking of undocking for the first time in months to shoot some flashies, then I saw this and the pod thread, set another long train and alt-shift-q'd.

Keep up the good work CCP.

Perhaps a bug report would have been more effective than a petition.

A bug report wont get your sec status back up, its already been confirmed a bug, CCP should reimburse the status drop.

No, it's not. The Goon he attacked was not an outlaw and he was not wardeced. He attacked a random player unprovoked and got Concorded for his trouble, just like he should have.

That part is working as intended. What's not working as intended is pods still being flashy red after the ship kill, implying to everyone that they can be shot at without incurring a GCC.

Also, he didn't get the "You're about to commit a crime" dialogue even though he had the option for it active. So that is a bug.

Quite correct that a bug report would be the way to get this info to development. Petitions go to GMs.

Notwithstanding that the issue you are describing and this issue are separate, as this issue has never arisen in the game before now (nor could it have, really, without a crazy chain of coincidence happening). The Crimewatch system has never been stressed with this many edge cases and mitigating factors before and we will endeavour to react quickly in identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

Can you give us any details on this bug, for avoiding any appearance of us exploiting it? We wish to make the players in Jita suffer for their sins, but wish to do so honorably and within the EULA and TOS.

Thanks for working on this bug. I hope you guys figure it out soon.

Confirming that my poor NPC alts took a couple major security hits and lost their km-****ing noob ships last night. This will be dealt with!

But in all seriousness, thanks for working on it.

Pretty much typical CCP.

I'd love CCP to explain why some additional combat in a system that has it's own node, still requires huge Tidi. Oops

Well, it's not exploitable firstly, so no trouble there. I don't want to go into the details of the reproduction cases though in case some cunning person proves me wrong and finds a way to exploit it! Fair warning folks - details of this should be sent to us in bug reports and any appearing in this thread or others will be deleted.

THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT:

"Due to the TIME FLUX issues in JITA during the massive campaign between Capsuleers Concorde have started a shoot first ask questions later policy.

There ARE enough Concorde officials on stations and gates to HANDLE the rouge Capsuleers.

Any pilot that try to make a name for himself in their 'assistance' to Concorde better go do this some other place in space."

I think Time Flux is the same as time dilation.

It's called "lag avoidance" and is an intended feature of TiDi. You're welcome!

I had this happen to me too. I got concorded after shooting a flashy red - twice. I also got killed a third time by the navy. After being blown up I made sure that I had no aggro timers running - concord, navy or otherwise.

What's interesting is that after being concorded the first time and undocking with clear timers people tried to shoot me the first time I undocked (i spammed dock) but not the second time. I then shot a flashy abaddon (which got pwnd by concord) and got concorded.

The second time I undocked and had a whole bunch of people, including a tornado try to shoot me only to get concorded in return. This time I was again clear of any timers. I then proceeded to shoot goons in a barrel for a good 10-20 minutes when a caldari navy sentry gun suddenly decided I was unwelcome in Caldari space. I lost my ship to the navy but had no GCC or aggro to NPCS until the gun started shooting me.

Part of playing in an MMO filled with emergent gameplay is just this - emergent problems.

CCP is not psychic, sometimes all they can do is react when something buggy is reported, and a fix may not always happen on YOUR time schedule.

I mean, FFS. Were you seriously just sitting there waiting for a month so you could shoot flashies without leaving high sec?

This positively reeks of differing sub-modules and threads not talking to each other at the same speed.

TIDI has some growing up to do. OTOH, Jita events is a great stress-tester. Roll
