The only reason that I know about this is because my friend has been raging about them for a while. And what is an OP?

OK, so I have to ask ...

is this the first time you've ever been allowed to browse the internet without direct parent supervision?

No, I'm just to lazy to keep up on most of the acronyms and half of them I honestly haven't heard until now.

Again, EVE requires you to do stuff yourself. If you don't like to do that and are just a lazy little teenager go play another game which is made by Blizzard

It's where everyone gets a Hulk and goes mining across New Eden so there are Hulks mining in every belt

Dam you spoiled it, I confirm that you should mine in a hulk during Hulkageddon.

Makes sence, can someone tell me what op means, because a few people have said it so far.

I also have to say this, I swear on my life I am not trolling, I am just very confused and trying to learn more about what many of the people on the forums are talking about.

He says "You've already had breakfast." I ask "But what about second breakfast?"

Have you played any other MMOS? Have you ever been on any forums on the internet? OP is a standard forum term not particular to EVE. I saw earlier you don't know what DPS is. Please.

To answer your question, I dont play other MMOS. I know that OP usually mean over powered but it seems that it will mean something different in this context. So can someone answer me?

Is there any way to attach multiple afterburners?

No. But you can fit a AB and a MWD at the same time but you can't use them at the same time. This is known as dual prop.

Sorry, I read the first page then I posted. Only after I realized how much the op should use google, do the in-game tutorials, and do some research.

Neither Eve or it community will take you by the hand. Most of your questions are VERY obvious and most people figured it in a few hours or so.

Even more than 8 months in the game, I still use google every day, for things that I'm not sure or don't know. Yeah, eve is that complicated. So if you are not ready to do some research by yourself to understand this game, you should stop to play right now.

To be fair, with the old forums gone there hasn't been a good "here's what the hell the jargon means" thread in the new search index. Figured that, whether the OP is serious or not, sticking all this **** in one thread means the "search forums" box is slightly less completely useless.

I'm big on in-game (yes, the official forums count) help being available without resorting to Google, which gives you half irrelevant answers and half troll answers. Especially regarding fitting, oh lord the battleclinic fits.

We found his main I think

Old forums are still available through

www.eve-search.com (thanks to the Veldspar King)
general google will also find you a lot of player made blogs about almost everything.
And last but not least (and already mentioned like 4 times) there is the Glossary page on the EVE wiki explaining about 95% of the terms used in EVE

I agree with that, but most of the OP's questions could have been found easily in Evelopedia -DPS, Incursions, crosstraining, WH, and the OP definition- It doesnt requiere very hard research to find those info by yourself and most of his question would have been answered by tutorial, pedia, or forum search, without using google. There is also a (new I think) forum category named "Wormhole", which would have also answered some questions with a very little search since it is accessible from the forum main page and is the second category on top.

Obviously the OP don't want to search by himself, and this, mean that he is not ready for EVE(to me). Like I said, players can't take him by the hand every time he face a problem. Plus he is in that game for more than 6 weeks, he should have figured some things now, not post less-than-one-week-old-newbies questions.

At this point I think the best way to help him is to say "look at the item attribute", "look on Evelopedia". Giving him free answer like this do not help him, as he will always refer to this tread or start a new one and he will never be autonomous.

My point is not to not helping him, it's that he should and must do some work by himself.

Does anyone have a good link where I can find out how to scan for other ships?

To reply to your question about the Intergalactic Summit, it's a roleplay forum. Not everything in it is true. Some people even claim things that just can't happen within the confines of the game (Because, hey, its Roleplay!)

We have fun, though.
