Most potentially profitable endeavours carry an element of risk. There was a good chance you would have succeeded in this transaction - in which case, you would have made a profit. However, you did not - and thus made a loss. Such is business. Such is life.

That would keep those players from rage quitting though. I propose a solution that gives us the best of both worlds. It cuts down on petition spam to CCP, but also still prevents me from ever meeting these people. Any killmail containing a PLEX should automatically permaban the victim's account.

I was unaware of many of the methods that people have mentioned ie reverse redeeming...
at the time of the redemption I did not have a character on any account that was anywhere near a trade hub so i picked the closest one... I did warp to 0 and traveled safely from a low sec area to a high sec area and then went to auto pilot one jump away from where I planned to sell it,
I have not blamed ccp for anything

I have asked them to consider that by allowing anyone to "re-claim" a PLEX when something like this happens that it encourages new players and old alike and shows a certain level of compassion because after all quid pro quo... I did not ask them to make me a new plex after someone took my plex away I asked them to allow a non claimable plex that was lost to be claimable because it was part of a deal I made with the buddy program
I do not have an issue with loosing things through the normal game mechanics as I stated previously... in every other scenario I would not have an issue. I understand that I lost the plex through normal game mechanics but feel that because I encouraged someone to play and subscribe that it is a special case and not your average case.
a good way to compare the loss would be to use the hypothetical situation of lets say a coffee shop. If i bring a friend to the shop and they buy 10 coffees I am allowed to have one free coffee and I get a card that says "thanks for bringing new business to our establishment heres a free coffee". so on this day that I was going to redeem my free coffee and share it with possibley even another new customer or even enjoy it with their same previously new customer I go to the store and then a bully comes over and, while in full view of the staff, grabs the card from my hand and rips it up and then leaves the store.
I just want to share my free coffee... everyone...

I truly appreciate all of you that actually have the capacity to understand what my point is and have sort of worked on the trolling thing a bit... :)
I get that I am dumb but Im not that dumb... I was at the time of this tragedy less informed and confident. I am more informed now and more experienced. and I hope that at least some of you understand what Im getting at here. IM not asking for something for nothing... im not even making an unreasonable request. I am however apparently stuck with the knowledge of my mistake forever and will now resort to a life of crime to someday hopefully redeem myself by ganking a plex of someone just like me... so thanks.... for that... oh and the idea that CCP will increase the penalty for said actions... even further reinforces my point. what happned shouldnt have happened and its my fault yes... and only mine... yep it sucks.

I appreciate everyones comments and for those of you that have been kind enough to actually think about what I have experienced. (oh and actually READ what I write before you spout off a bunch of garbage)

But you got that item! You did not have to claim it in that station, put it in the cargo of a noob ship and see how far you would get with it, that was YOUR choice!

So 'I simply want to claim my reward'.. you did, when you clicked redeem,
whatever you did with it after that was your responsibility.

Pretty much the same way as, I walk in store and buy toaster, pay for it, walk out of the store withit,
on the corner of the street I drop said toaster on the ground and break it, or it gets stolen,
if I go back to the store and tell them the story they will probably feel bad for me, but that is it,
they will not give me a new toaster...
After I walked out of the store with it, it was my responsibility..

You are a complete fool. There has always been a risk-free way of moving PLEX.
The only injustice here is that CCP are willing to replace PLEX destroyed through the claimants stupidity.
