I wonder how many kill mails kill reports that LEGO Rifter is going to get, ganking the soles of people's feet in the dark.

I'd give it a week until we see the nerf for that overpowered ability

Aye, the official LEGO comments made it clear that it would have a hard time getting through with the cricketbat bashing zombies kit. The LEGO comments regarding the Rifter seems quite positive though, but who doesn't like spaceships!

Awesome! CONGRATS!

I don't like Minmitar ships at all...yesterday in fact I was forced against my will by my alliance to step foot for the first time into a Minmitar ship, the Tornado. I will however purchase a Lego Rifter if it makes it into Lego's lineup. That is freaking awesome!

I think the Demios would be a great choice for the next EvE LEGO project as well.

Damn.. who doesn't like Minnie ships? Seriously, they're the leanest, meanest, and greatest killing machines around New Eden. And unlike the golden sheen of the Amarr, or the curvation of the Gallente, or the gray mass of the Caldari.. they actually LOOK like the mean killing machines they are.

Excellent. The titan that can't blow up (blap, whichever term you prefer) rifters. I can be sure my lego rifter and lego levi will not hurt one another.

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

I think a model of the Tristan would be nice.

I am the One who exists in Shadow. I am the Devil your parents warned you about.

It then needs throwing through a Zcorp (or similar) 3D printer...

Not the Rifter but a Lego car model and 3D output as an example:

Could just imagine a Scaled up Lego Rifter!

Already one out there in the google image land, a lot of hinges as I recall to make the curves!

Everyone's got to be nice to each other in Eve for awhile to get past this target age 7-11 thing...

If those LEGO people are half smart they will approve it.

1. The LEGO Rifter aligns two different entertainment mediums, one offline and the other online. Considering several offline entertainment mediums are being dumped for online PSP/iPad/Nintendo/Hello Kitty Online/Disney Club Panda, all links you can create to joint market your offline product with online stuff are win.

2. LEGO should understand they have a new segment for their products, namely the people that played with LEGO when they were kids and that now are grown ups with much more disposable income (=interesting customers).

3. When you market to kids you can do one of two things: sell to the kid and get him to convince the parent (kid choses, parent pays); or sell to the parent and get him to push it to the kid (parent choses and pays, thinking it's the best for the kid). LEGO EVE bridges precisely this gap between what motivates the parent to make the buying decision and what the toy has that in the parent's mind is attractive to the kid.

I'd be worried about pieces coming off during use. Pieces that might require a rather embarrassing explanation to my doctor to have them retrieved from my anatomy....

Yeah a whole set of EVE Lego models would be awesome. That is the kind of thing that would get me back into getting Lego's again.

I miss being a kid...

I miss being a kid, where lego consisted of basic bricks and you made whatever you wanted.
