Define best. Sure, staying well away from Jita will keep your ships, your implants and your wallet intact.

But I'm heading for the fight. This could well be the event of the year. I do not intend to miss the fun.

I expect to die, several times. No worries. I'm wearing a fresh clone with no implants. When I run out of cheap cruisers I'll switch to cheap frigates.

I don't care about losses. I'm a carebear, and I'm going to have fun. I'm not even that bothered about killmails, though I'd like to get at least one confirmed goon kill.

And say what you like about goons, they're organising one helluva party. And I want to be able to say I was there.

Also- we are bringing alts because, well, some of us have unfortunate sec status, that apparently does mean something after all in other portions of the game... Alot of people are showing up for the ganking, another (very large) portion of us are showing up to kill the would be war targets.

Hope you have enough Neutral Alts to counter a proper AHAC fleet.

Your figures have just a few flaws. While freighters may have a high price tag, Indies don't. Considering a Freighter is built for less than 200million and the rest is profit(carebear math) a Iteron is built for about what it cost you to buy a shuttle. Killmails are just killmails...birdcage liner and fishwrappers

I've been playing EVE for almost 4 month now and I have to say I am quite disappointed.

I had great plans of being a miner and producer mining ore, refining it, manufacturing goods and selling them for profit. I actually thought that miner and producer is a honorable profession in EVE being the base of the economy.

But what do you get? Scamming, griefing, ganking and bullying defenseless players seem to be the right way to go in this game.

So you shouldn't be surprised at all that someone who got banned for his antisocial behaviour in RL is planning to terrorise players to celebrate his glorious return and CCP is doing nothing about it.


I don't get any joy from being ganked in my 300 mil. Hulk by 3 or 4 cowards in their 5 mil. destroyers without any means to defend myself.

I don't get any joy from my cans being fliped and all I can do is sit and watch.

I don't get any joy from losing my industrial and cargo just because someone else is bored.

And I don't get any joy from being forced into fights I don't want to fight especially if there is no way I can win.


So what can I as a single person do about all this? I'm afraid the only thing is to quit playing.
And that's exactly what I am going to do.

So if there are other players like me who don't get joy from being bullied around let CCP know and suspend your account to make your voice being heared. If there are enough of us maybe they will listen and give us a little space in their sandbox that dogs don't use as a toilet so we can play the game the way we enjoy it.
I'm afraid that's the only way we can "fight back".


Don't get me wrong. I don't want to whine. If this is the way this game is meant to be then so be it. It's just not the way I enjoy playing. But given the fact that the vast majority of the citizens in EVE live in highsec I can't believe I'm the only one thinking that way.

I also can't believe that there can't be a way to co-exist WITHOUT ruining other players game. If there really is no way to respect players who want to live in peace or only want to fight FAIR battles then it's best (at least for me) to leave sooner rather than later because I came to EVE to have fun (my kind of fun - without hurting anybody) and not to get frustrated.


And Goons, how about thinking of how to make this game as pleasant as possible for EVERYONE and not just for a bunch of idiots?

you are a real idiot arnt you, this is eve, you cannot play the way you want all the time, if you want to mine without being can flipped, take measures against it, dont whine. if you dont want to get suicide ganked, fit tank on your ships, and also, eve is a PVP GAME, its primarily PVP based and its not a game for someone that wants to sit there clicking on rocks for hours on end for no reason.

uhhh,,,actually you can mine for hours on end if that 's what floats your boat. For some, Eve is a chat room glued to a space game with really cool graphics. You can also sit for hours on end at a gate..waiting..for a target..still waiting...and make just as much isk as a guy mining. There ya go!
Half the time I think it's got to be some Goon alt made up for just doing rage quit postings. I can't conceive of someone quitting this fantastic game over being killed when even the tutorial tries to kill you. Guess I'm just old or something. But even my grandkids wouldn't rage quit like this. Maybe it's how they've been raised. You get cut, you bleed, you rinse it out and it heals. End of story.

Eve may be PVP in alot of aspects but it is not purely a PVP game. Alot of players do not like PVP and I doubt this game could survive off of the subscriptions of PVPers alone. The only thing that has kept them going is the lack of competition in the marketplace, otherwise people would be fed up having to deal with hyper aggressive sociopaths who collect 'tears' and move on. CCP should do more to end some practices, like the ability of idiots buying cheap destroyers to take out hulks. It should take alot more than that to take them down.

Dear Goons.......

THINK OF THE HAMSTERS!!!!!

FOR THE LOVE OF EVE THINK OF THE POOR HAMSTERS!!!!

Unless CCP have some kind of Super Duper node we don't know about this isn't going to be pretty. TiDi will kick in and shortly after it hits 100% the Jita node will let out it's magic smoke and go dark.....possibly for a long while.

Either way the Goons get what they want....trade disruption in Jita. If they purposefully crash the server multiple times over the weekend perhaps CCP will step in and ban their offending alt accounts.

With possibly over 12000 or more in local and a lot of shooting going on it's almost a guarantee the node won't make it and Goons will have killed some poor helpless hamsters.

Think of the hamsters Goons....think of the innocent hamsters!

Whether or not they're really going to try and burn Jita, it's already having an effect. I was moving some combat-prepped ships up last night, and there are a load of freighters and haulers fleeing the area.

Considering a Freighter is built for less than 200million and the rest is profit(carebear math) a Iteron is built for about what it cost you to buy a shuttle. Cost to manufacture. Not sale price. Read. Reread. Read again. Cost to manufacture plus profit equals market price. Cost to manufacture is what it costs the manufacturing person to produce the item. This is called the manufacturing cost. That is the cost to aquire the materials and construction fees, Not the actual market value of the ores/minerals.

Why do certain Alliances convert minerals into Ammo for shipping? Because it saves room. Not because they like really expensive minerals. Why do I build Freighters and Hurricanes and Drakes? Because I can make money on them selling below market value and never shed a tear for those poor fools that work their butts off to buy one. But I can tell I'm boring you.
