Missions & Complexes

My understanding was that they changed the missions so that the majority of distribution missions would be courier.

I have just started running L1 Distribution missions on this character, and the majority of the ones I have had so far have been combat encounters.

This may be because my agent keeps throwing "chain" missions at me, (1 of 4 etc), I might just be unlucky with the rotation of missions, but as a brand new char training up for non-combat career, I was surprised at the amount of rats in the missions, and the difficulty. Luckily the rifter is made of total awesomeness, and I have had some experience flying them in pvp, so handling the missions with barely the skills to fit a nano/armor repper etc has been just about doable.

There are also cap drain rats in one or two of these combat missions.

After all the waffle, my questions are:

Have others doing Distribution missions had this amount of combat encounters?

Is it just the level 1 missions this is limited to? (I have actually noticed a scary amount of rats in L1 mining missions too, I had to keep swapping between my burst and a rifter, as the rats took the burst shield down in one hit, and I actually lost the first ship I took in because 3 Angel rats spawned on me)

It must just be the L1 that have that. I was just worried it might have been a recent change they did to the missions that I missed.

I will just burn through them and get out of the awfulness of L1 asap.

Grinding out some L2 missions for Caldari standing and the only thing I have noticed is that all 3 storyline missions so far have been the anti-Gallente mission .... "Clearing a path". The agents are all listed as storyline-Distribution. Becoming total pain in the proverbial.
