If you read the fine print or listen to what "the mittani" has said in the past this is a con game.. and he condones it saying that it's your own fault if you fall for it. There are some alliances that charge some but I don't know that I would even trust them. Mittani said there is no charge to join Goons.. in fact, he stated they don't want you in goons..because they have enough people.. You can't join goon unless you know someone (more specifically, they know you) or are known on reddit.

Of course, there are exceptions.. but you are not the exception.

Give them money if you like.. but don't come back here crying if they move all your assets to null sec.. drop you, pod you, then keep your "deposit".

I can say that the deposit Goons requires is well worth the isk. When I paid mine, I recieved free transport services to get my assets to null sec, along with training and personal coaching to become a better Eve player.

Don't let the haters fool you. Pay it and you'll become a better player.

Never heard of such scams. My ship was broke down deep in null-sec and a couple of goons came along, helped fix my ship, and gave me some isk to get me on my way. Would recommend again +1 Pirate
