PS : Also I like how you are still clinging to the "Social experience" while whining about the isk nerf.

At the rate some of us making isk from missioning, we sure as hell weren't doing Incursions to sit in a queue waiting to group up with people and shoot the same ******* rat all day in OTAs.

The problem is not the nerf, but how they did that? It's really nonsense and seems that the ones that tested it have really 0 experience

Hey, its CCP we're talking about.

But would you rather have the nerf implemented in some other way, but with the same results?

I havnt done incursions myself, but it seems that they paid almost as much as killing sleepers in w-space, which is silly because killing sleepers requires loads of preparation, plus you have the risk of your scouts ******* up and having 30 t3's drop on your 10b isk fleet.

People are reporting 37m/hour for doing incursions in highsec now, in my opinion that is a fine value, for doing something that is happening in safe space where you dont have to check local or scan every 10 seconds to make sure that you arent missing anything.

Now they just need to bring missions in line with these payouts as well and i'll be a happy player.

Myths and rumors, isk/hr once your in a GOOD fleet is high, but people spend ALOT of time looking for a fleet. People dont factor in breaks or fleet form up. People spend ALOT of time creating groups they trust so that they can form quickly.

If you include fleet form up time the SUPER SHINY FLEETS made about 100mil/hr
People will look for fleets for HOURS... and then they dont include that in their isk/hr

most of the numbers people put out are overestimated bragging ~~ hubris if you will :3

also that 37mil/hr is the super shiny fleets running vanguards before they get bogged down with OTAs

assults in a good fleet can do about 60mil/hr and we lost a nightmare and a basi in our last site (i wasnt FC) then we hit an NCN wall and had to stop

please stop using the waiting excuse ****.

we ran some sleeper yesterday, got 350m for ea in an hr.

but before that we had to do a fuel run for an hr. getting everyone ready in half an hr. after running we need to salvage which takes us another half an hour, then everyone spends time scanning.

so pretty much our income is 50m/hr. 37m/hr is still high. nerf it more

I'm neither carebear or hardcore PVPer... but what in the world does it matter HOW an expensive ship is lost?

This whole PVP vs Non-PVP thing is pretty ridiculous. Both sides seem pretty dumb about the other, but this comment really shows that off.

no sir, if you lose shinies in pve, the only explanation is that you're stupid

and you're even more stupid if you whine about that as risk

Hmmn.

I wouldn't go so far to say the "only" explanation. Ignorance and ill-preparedness go a long way - both in PVP and PVE. An inept FC in an incursion can probably be quite detrimental to ship survivability.

I confess to not having done any incursions. I suppose your answer is more like:

"The enemy is a known quantity, quality and comes in a set order. Look it up and you shan't die."

Whereas in PVP a "weaker" ship can play all kinds of tricks to get the upper hand - or has friends (additional 'waves') that you can't look up.

Anyway, to each their own (and maybe I'll take some of yours, and yours, and HEY, that was mine...) etc etc.

Firstly, yeah, I fly and lose shiny ships in PvP, not that it matters to this thread. No idea where you were going with that.

Secondly, of course there's risk. People lose ships incursioning all the time, which by simple definition means there's risk. That fact that you blanket all of thse losses under "the player was stupid" really does go a long way to show how ignorant you are.

Simple statement of fact isn't whining. Nice try though.

Risk averse puppy you are. "Oh no, you lose a ship, you must be dumb, you should have taken less risk."
Blaming others about being risk averse with a 87.43% Efficiency is kinda ironic, isn´t it?

And its downright ridiculousness when you use this as argument that pve is a absolute safe environment.
(Again: No one made the claim that incursions an high risk environment.)

Remove insurance.

fly stupid + risk averse != from fly smart.

btw, you should see all my T3s losses.

and you should read all the posts from other incursion runners claim incursion is high-end and risky pve content

you do realize that the incursion nerfs were due to nullbear tears right?

Most of the actions that kept attention on incursion payouts were done by non-null residents:

highsec griefers (us)
w-space residents (Lead Farmers and others)
and a core member of the incursion community (Ammzi)

Darius and Brick provided a lot of the numbers when we were out there ending incursions by popping moms, but the initiative was taken by everyone BUT those who live in null.
