Item redemption

If there are multiples of the same item available for redemption is it possible to redeem less than all of them at once?

For example, if someone with far more spending money available than myself bought 6 PLEX, do all 6 need to be redeemed at the same time, in the same place?

I have not been successful finding any relevant posts. My search-fu is weak.

You have to take a whole stack. However, you can split the stack and unredeem just one item.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

Ah. Do you use the same shift-drag technique that's used everywhere else in-game?

Yes. I think there is also an optional right-click context menu option "Split Stack" which does the same thing.

And this is why you never need to undock with a PLEX in your hold. ;)

Only issue with this is that the PLEX will only be able to get back in the station where you have put them back into the Redeem pool I believe.

That's correct, I've tested this myself and any item sent back to the redeem system will only be redeemed in the original location that you first redeemed it.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

You can apply a PLEX to your account from anywhere in EVE using your assets window.

This also means that it easy to buy / sell PLEX anywhere in a region. I love people that put cheap PLEX for sale in lowsec, because they don't want to move it to a trade hub.
