Hi Hi

Let me explain the SANDBOX theory to you

Player A Joins, Player A Skills, Player A drags 25k of his mates in and creates a super power and rules the game.

Do they? I don't think so sumhow.

They don't control the mission corps
They don't control the market
They don't tell pvp corps what they can and can't do
They don't tell miner corps how to operate

They control there space and want to waste ISK on *jita burning* - Go for it, just will drive ship demands up, profit for most

Goonswarm in no case control this game or how anyone plays it. I have NEVER been affected by Goonswarm as i don't mix with them or move in the same circles as them.

My view on Goonswarm? Good job, well done and keep it up. Do whatever makes your game play fun. It's a game.

They are NOT the most powerful alliance ingame, not by a long shot, AAA alone could steamroll Goonswarm in a 1v1 Allliance V Alliance battle.

They are simply the most vocal alliance ingame.

For 90% of the playerbase, they don't know, don't care who Goonswarm are. For 60% of the playerbase has never even heard of goonswarm as it's only about 10% of the game population like myself who trawl the forums every day.

So stop with this *goons rules the games* *goons are destroying eve* bullshite

Cause it's rubbish, pure 100% rubbish, goons push everything forward with there antics. Soon u punks realise that. The better.

Even if you would have nothing else good to say about them because you're bitter, you can't deny that the Goons and their hijinx are highly entertaining for those not directly affected by them.

I'm pretty sure WIdot could take AAA in a 1 vs 1 stand up fight.

Be advised, I do understand that WIdot always insist on using the Marquess of Queensberry Rules, even though they don't know what they are.

I'm with OP here, plenty you can do without ever seeing or meeting the Goons. Yes Goons are well known to the EVE-population unlike other alliances, but this is because they do PR alot (bad PR is also PR, and some say it's the best kind)

All this talk about goons reminds me of older days, when people whined about other alliances (BoB comes to mind, big, powerful and invincible it was tought, yet they're down now)

To me it just seems Goons want to be remembered, and you can only do that by setting large goals & achieving them, doing things other declare you crazy for and succeeding in it.

Do I like goons? Nope, but that doesn't make me blind to the fact they can stir up Eve like no other, for both good & bad. As the Goons have risen, so they will fall someday, perhaps when the asians invade Eve & carve out their own powerbloc.

We uh, already fell. To Goonswarm. Don't you remember, we forgot to pay our rent?

I can't wait till World of Darkness and we can permakill twits we don't like, that'll be fun until CCP removes it.

In the end, as do all, you'll beat yourselves.

As far as burn Jita creating a market for ships; Goonwaffle won't be replacing all those ships they'll lose.
They'll burn their supply, then burn a trail for home in their pods.

Once home, they'll sit and fidget wondering if it's okay to ask Mitt, "What was it, again, that made this such a good idea?"
