Hi people.

Well basically, whats the best way to make some isk, and have fun while doing it out of these? I am really undecided, and am already in a null sec alliance, and in talks with a wormhole corp, ive done maybe 4-5 vanguard sites. I have 3 characters, 1 Leadership booster, and 2 higher SP chars that can fly macharial / tengus / etc.

The way i see it

Incursions
+ In empire in relative safety
+ Consistent
+ Good Isk
- Sometimes hard to find fleets
- ????????????
- Repetitive

Wormhole (C5 with static 4
+ Really good isk making opportunities
+ Team work and coordination (i find fun)
- Scanning
- Dangerous
- Logistics
- If no ones on, it can be extremely boring.

Upgraded Anomalies
+ Good isk (How much per /hr can you make in mach?)
+ Semi secured system with use of alt
+ Station system
- Getting ganked
- Repetitive

Does anybody run two clients and do incursions? i have 3x monitor setup and could run 2x mach's and a orca with boosts, or would a mach and carrier (or ywo machs) ripping thru upgraded anomaly system be better?

thoughts?

running 2 toons in HS incursions is the easiest option.
if you had cap pilots and knew how, c5-6 WHs are by far the most isk.

There is no Bob.

With a boosting alt too with all shield boosts + link i should get in fleets pretty easy you think?

I really want to do wormholes, but i just feel right now is a bad time to commit to once, because they definitely take commitment and patience

Patience, yeah. Commitment, not if you don't want to.

Speaking from the depths of w-space, if you're looking for an easy w-space existence, what you're looking for is an alliance or corp that is cohabiting with other people in a single system. That way, you're able to farm whenever you want. PVP is a bit sketchy though. You can spend hours looking for it if you even find any. I'd say go for it.

If you're worried about commitment, take a drake and some friends that can scan and salvage into a c1-c3 with a static high. Only thing to worry about is other people ganking you in a site.

On weekends im often enough getting in whs. The guys mostly are out to pewpew and waste their hard earned ISK in exploding ships in low and nullsec. While that the most wh systems are simply empty and you can spend hours and hours there, gaining riches and treasures and leave before the gang comes back, yet to find their empty sites. If you are nasty (i am not) you can always leave 1 or 2 sleepers there if possible so that they dont respawn :) You wont come back to there most probably Twisted

But a c2 or c3 is very easy to find and easy money, too. During the week on evenings youd have to calculate some pewpews in, so be careful. The first thing when entering a wh - bookmark the exit. Second thing is scan for other ships. If you are paranoid wait about an hour cloaked in front of the POS and check activity. The longer you wait, the less chance to trip into a trap.

Then do some plexes of the kind you want. And leave.

Locust life ftw.

W-space is best ISK in game, bar none. If you are not making billions in a week, you are doing it wrong. Scanning takes a little bit of getting used to but with the right skills, right equipment and some mapping tools its actually pretty fun especially since you can find something to gank or isk making opportunity. If no one is online, then just go out and scan, you will either find an exit to k-space or some ISK in need of liberating from sleepers.

Nullsec anoms in high end ships tick a steady 90-120M / hour solo. The other activities are potentially more profitable but in order to roll in better steady isk, you'll need a competent team.

If you have a good and trustworthy team, you're prolly best off doing W-space stuff or incursions. If you fly a lot solo, nullsec provides isk/h.

A machariel using normal ammo ticks at around 30-35M per, averaging 100M/hour in nullsec anoms: ring sanctums and forsaken hubs. A vindicator reaches higher against serpentis and guristas in forsaken hubs. A thanatos is most probably your best choise ticking 35-40's without ammo cost.

That's what I've been running in sanctums and forsaken hubs consistently. Add some 2-5M /hour if running with perfect coordination and skillpoints.

If your main focus is ISK grinding then i would say do incursions, find or form friendships with people that run them constantly to avoid downtime's, or join an incursion corp.

Higher class WH's will earn you currently the best isk/hour in the game but it is not always constant and with it comes significant dangers. But people like us that reside in WH's and have done for a long time mostly see isk as a funding for the dangerous side of WH's. We like to shoot people while flying shiny ships and we like to throw shiny ships into battles with little regard for loosing them. If you don't think that attitude is for you then you won't make it in a dedicated WH corp living in the upper C's or will be looked on as a farming member.

incursions are relatively safe (though it is still possible to loose ships). With the new changes, they will hopefully become less repetitive, and may also become less consistent. 100-150mil isk/hour/character (not counting booster) was pretty consistant before the changes if you were in good fleets. Ok fleets, or fleets during peak times, especially weekends, will make less due to competition. I highly recommend not bothering during peak times unless you run assaults/HQ's.

I will admit, I stopped running them due to the repetativeness. That being said, that may be mostly because you flatten sites so fast - every single WH site of the same name is always the exact same, as are pretty much every anomaly in null (ok, there are 2 types of sanctums... did you get the ring or the station?).

Class 1's and 2's make less isk than incursions. Class 3's and 4's can make more. Class 5's and 6's with full cap escalation will blow every other form of isk making out of the water, even including the time to do logistics and scanning etc. However, running the logistics (especially if you are in a small corp, and having to do it often, or constantly collapsing the ffing static **AGAIN**) can get tiresome, and its also really, really annoying not being able to do much cause you're the only person online... again. That part is actually why I ended up leaving WH space.

I regularly make 20mil isk/20min running a pair of mediocre skilled tengu's with assigned fighters. There are others who talk about running with carriers etc. making 30mil. There is someone in alliance claiming to be able to consistantly hit 40mil solo with a blasterboat. Personally, I don't recommend taking carriers into a site because even with 2 sensor boosters on it, and 3 painters, locking time takes forever and fighters don't do that great dps (a maxed thanny does 1875... less than a vindi with void and some bling can hit). But I would put 100mil isk/hour around the upper limit of what you can hit per character in null.

I ran with 2 monitors with 2 characters (in nightmares) in sites, with a 3rd character mostly ignored offgrid. Usually made about 200+mil isk/hour, though near the end when I pulled out for WH's there was a lot of complaining about people multiboxing and not wanting multiboxers in fleet. Since I ran my own, I could tell people to shove it, and I'm not sure if they still moan about this or not. It may depend upon who you fly with.

But all in all, looking at pure isk, I would rate it as:

C5/C6 WH with cap escalations (way the heck at the top)
C3/C4 WH static
incursions (may sometimes top the C3/C4 WH's)
nullsec anoms

As far as entertainment value:

Nullsec (people!!!)
C5/C6 (look, a challenge)
C3/C4 (someone might be out there...)
incursions (oh, look, ANOTHER OTA... thats what, the 12th this hour?)

Incursions never top out C3/C4's unless the wh residents are doing them in an inefficient manner. And I'm not entirely sold on the idea that C5/C6 actually makes better money when everything is taken into account. With that said, I haven't lived in a C5/C6 yet, so I won't say definitively. I'd need actual numbers on income to really say.

The entertainment value bit is subjective. P I personally find a C3 static far more interesting both PvE and PvP wise than nullsec, but it's all relative.
