Launcher not working on Singularity

Having trouble with Launcher

If it would let me post the error, i would do so.

Looks like a bunch of command line errors.

Tranquility works fine.

Sisi does not launch.

An unexpected error occured
Please try to restart the Launcher or run the Repair Tool(repair.exe located in your eve directory)

And then lots of lines with non understandable text.

The Launcher is currently broken for Singularity on Windows. We know about the issue and it will be either fixed within the next hours or tomorrow morning.

The Mac Launcher for Singularity is working this time. Blink

wtf is eve launcher? who uses this? really?! im on windows, and on SISI!!!! Go me!

Nobody likes a launcher, please remove.

thanks for the update CCP, i have been bloody moving files around non stop with repairs and stuff lol. then find this thread, ah wel. hope you can get it fixed soon =] Thank's. times like these i think of dual booting with a mac os aswell lol.

Seems like a very non graceful exception to a simple 404, doesn't seem like not being able to find a patch or content for the launcher should result in an inability to launch the game.

Is it fixed now? I still can't update. I tryed all posted suggestion's but the launcher is still failing with an error message which I can't post here (getting kicked out from this posting page when I try).

Bypass the launcher set up a shortcut linked to the ExeFile.exe in the bin folder then tack on the server address Example of how my shortcut is linked in properties "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE SISI\bin\ExeFile.exe" /server:87.237.38.50

thanks nice info there, that manages to get the client to start with SISI as the server, but then get a incompatible protocol with server status.

To repair/update to the current singularity patchlevel:

bin/repair.exe --buildno=365434

As the patchlevel changes you can adjust the argument to buildno to patch to current.

Check http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/server_status.php for current patchlevel.

Thanks, using the combination of the fix Erogo Proxy and the one above fixed the problem and now able to get onto sisi. First using the "bin/repair.exe --buildno=365434" and then the one from erogo proxy to skip the launcher, as using the launcher tries to update to the tranquility build. which is wrong, so use erogo proxys fix to bypass the launcher.

Singularity is again accessible using the regular Launcher. No need to use the workarounds any longer.

nvm, still uses the launcher. I'm screwed.
