Well, they could use a tech 1 cov ops frigate, which is better than a Pilgrim.

And to get into a Dominix, or maybe a hurricane, or whatever BC/BS should not take long at all.

I mostly hang out in one area in low sec (I'm a pirate). Every now and then when I Just wanna relax or it's late and I'm not in the mood for pew pew I explore some.

I use a covert ops frig to scan, then a cruiser/battlecruiser/T3 to the site (depending on the site obviously).
Other times if I feel like roaming a few systems/regions I'll just grab my T3 (the Legion) and use that - it can scan like a cov ops, has code breaking, salvaging, analyzer and combat all rolled into one.

Exploration is very eratic - you can take about 20Mil away from a radar site on average (sometimes much more, other times much less) and night before last I found a complex with a implant drop worth 300mil in 15 minute's of exploration. I fly cheap ships with insurance for pvp so exploration is more than enough to satisfy my isk needs.

Started taking an interest in scanning a couple of weeks ago myself. Wanted to stick to hi-sec for now so read up on all the guides ect and settled for a navy vexor so i didnt have to switch ships if i found a combat site ect.

Most my finds have been medicore upto now, a few million here and a few there, but ive just finished my first scanned down 4/10 and couldnt be happier.

I switched to my myrm and set off out, cleared both rooms very easily with drones and headed for the telescope as the guide said thats where the good loot would drop (if any)

Ended up snatching a Pithum C-type medium shield booster which is roughly 360-380m in jita at the moment.

SCORE!

As well as paying for next months plex on my 2nd account (almost if i include the 7th and 8th tier overseers effects) it's renewed my interest that sometimes, even if its rare, you can get lucky in high-sec. Cool
