It's always great to see that people, who have no actual experience,
talk about **** they don't understand ...

Modern societies. People believing that having an opinion and stating it is a given right,
because nobody punishes them for being stupid ****heads ...

Back when I started this game, the punishment for being a 'bad guy' was that carebears brought pitchforks - and friends - so you had to face quite harsh consequences.

Not our fault carebears today want all served on silver platter. Sad

AFK-cloaking in a system near you.

Criminality is a type of gameplay, they aren't actually breaking laws that they need to be punished for.

However, there is a point there. -10s fly pods and shuttles through hisec, so unless you're sitting on a gate in a PvP fit (well, with at least a point) waiting for a flashy red to fly by, with your finger on the trigger, you're getting nothing. I don't know about you, but I have better things to do than sit around waiting on random gates for something to happen. Is that what passes for PvP?

Yes. that is it mostly. Sitting at a gate and wait.

And all those nice guys saying that someone is an idiot, because he isnt interested in PVP and aggression mechanics are not even considering the fact, that someone -10 in the 1K caldari shuttle still has 10 buddies in a fleet which arent -10 and waiting for especially those who open fire at the shuttle.

Nothing thats been posted has changed my mind. Still, agression, even when to a -10 toon sitting in a shuttle, is accepting a battle HIS battlefield, to HIS conditions, HIS plans and with HIS friends.

I am not bored enough yet to sit with 20 m8es at some gate and hope to find some badly prepared unskilled victim. I am flying long enough through low and nullsec and only got killed a few times that i still consider it more challenging avoiding all those fights, than to open fire with 5 buds on a single transporter warping into my null sec warpbubble filled with 30 drones, frozen corpses and bookmarks to make him visible and take him out after ive been sitting there for like 10 hrs with nothing else to do but warping around between my gridspots.

For that my sparetime is too valuable to me.

You know that shooting a -10 doesn't give his friend, whether they be fleetmates, corpmates, or m8m8s, any right to shoot you, right?

Did you really think that was the case?

Is the general knowledge of aggression mechanics out there *that* rudimentary?

For once I agree with you Psychotic Monk, aggression mechanics are not understood well enough. This is the fault of the PvE player or "carebear" for not understanding what actions can and will get him shot by a particular person, or an entire corporation.
