Jericho Fraction is a Roleplaying/PVP corporation recruiting pilots to join the Free Space revolution in New Eden.

Seven years ago we founded with NRDS ROE at the heart of our philosophy and we have remained true to the principle throughout our long history. Our identity is pledged to the struggle for self-determination and rejection of all imposed authority. Our pilots define themselves in space by courage and cunning in the face of more numerous regressive foes pressed lockstep to the demands of their debased masters.

Our corporate ideals are expressed through our politics and the active choices we make in-game. We are anarchists seeking the overthrow of collectivist folly, we are guerrilla heroes seeking liberation of human spirit, we are radicals and provocateurs, freedom-fighters and partisans. We see the big-battalions of the recidivist fleet and we strike from cloak and deadly surprise, picking off the weak and humiliating the clumsy giants of tyranny and escaping to sing the songs of victory in the company of our fellows.

In-space we practise innovative tactics and guerrilla techniques to bring war and liberating violence against those who profit from oppression and deny free commerce to the post-human capsuleers of the star cluster. We hunt our foes in fast skirmish ships, we run black ops insertions into the enemy heartlands, we deploy captured Amarrian battleships to unleash the pure coherent enlightenment of our lasers, with escalation protocols ranging from EW supremacy in ghetto cruisers to fullscale capital deployment and strategic cruiser supremacy as target and need arise.

We recruit mature and confident individualists with an appetite for enduring revolution and the stomach for bright acts of creative destruction. Our comrades are self-sufficient and enduring, prepared to learn new war-arts and techniques to operate in conjunction with fellow pilots, while embracing the ideology of the Free Captain as they light the liberating fires of battle in New Eden.

Recruiting check-list:

Arrow Attracted by the ideology of the corporation
Arrow Friendly and mature outlook on gaming
Arrow Active and team-orientated
Arrow Economically self-sufficient
Arrow No thieving, scamming or exploiting.
Arrow 18+ at the time of application
Arrow No accounts/alts in other player corporations/alliances
Arrow Have Teamspeak 3 client installed and tested
Arrow Commitment to follow the Star Fraction ROE

At the minimum new Jericho Fraction pilots should be skilled to fly armor and shield buffered battlecruisers and begin stealth bomber training (if not already certified) on application. All recruits should be prepared to accommodate new fleet concepts and training priorities in their skill planning ahead.

If the interview is successful you will be invited to trial with Jericho Fraction (usually 2-3 weeks) where you will make yourself available for combat patrols and alliance musters and be expected to maintain a minimum reship standard at the current operational base.

For successful recruits Jericho Fraction offers a superb play environment in one of Eve Online’s defining guerilla warfare corporations. We provide a relaxed and mature player base, excellent logistics and operational support, a massive red-list of reactionary dogs waiting to be removed from their ships and a bright cause of revolutionary mayhem and anarchist liberation waiting to be achieved.

We are a corporate meritocracy with no restrictions on ambition and achievement and on completion of the trial period you will be invited to play a full role in alliance democracy and decision-making at the open councils of owner-captains as we choose our targets and select our campaign priorities to come.

So if you fancy yourself a revolutionary free captain in the making please make a new topic on JF Membership enquiries (needs sign-up) with [JERIC] CHARACTER NAME in the title.

Be sure to respond to the recruiting Check List in the body of your application and include whatever other supporting information about your character and player experience and ambitions in the game you can think of.

After making the formal written application please join and look for our recruiters in the Star Fraction Public channel in-game and chase them for an interactive interview!

Freedom is the will to make a choice from a broader cross section of possibilities. Star Fraction is an expression of rebellious vision and stubborn reckless chutzpah in the face of authority. Trust nothing beyond the outcome of healthy cynicism and eccentric individualism combined with reckless passion and the courage to dream.”Jade Constantine

The Star Fraction has a history empowering the new pilot, before he becomes new meat fed into the sausage machines of 0.0.

Get a solid foundation in the black arts of Eve, as taught by its architects. Jericho Fraction is The Star Fraction's executor corp and one of the oldest corps in Eve. It pioneered asymmetric warfare to exploit the weaknesses of these petty robber barons: employing innovative strategies and tactics; be a part of it, all that's required is imagination, and patience.

Before I discovered Jericho I already thought of myself as a free captain. I was delighted when I discovered that this was not strange, or even uncommon. That I need not subordinate myself to anything or anyone. I could express my attitudes, even if they were antithetical to ethic of Eve itself.

If you're tired of being treated as a number, as just another +600 extra dps, then try Eve on hard mode – log on and be yourself.

Rip the system! Hope is alive for free thinkers across New Eden as long as the Fraction is still sticking it to the man.

You'd be hard pressed to find such a quality outfit anywhere else.

The only limitation we Fractioneers will accept to our personal sovereignty is self imposed; imposed by the need to be free, and for the love of freedom.

To Jericho NRDS is an expression of our commitment to free space, it gives expression to a profound respect for mutual external relationships between beings, acting as the Archimedean point outside of all other political objective, it is something upon which you may depend when dealing with us. In its strong form it is the free-space doctrine itself. While most of us wouldn't advance ethics as an argument in defence of ideology NRDS is nonetheless the foundation of Justice.

Unremarkable. Yet another capsuleer who speaks first and reads to understand later. Please sate my curiosity and tell us what it was that so inspired you to respond before you finished reading the initial post?

It may sound cliche, but the only stupid question is the one that was never asked. With a group of individuals as unique and open minded as this, you never know what the answer will be.

But who am I to prise? Just an unaffiliated fan of these free space guerrillas I guess... I'll go on back to my runnings now.

"Don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave you - who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel, who drill you, diet you, treat you as cattle, as cannon fodder.
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts. You are not machines.
You are not cattle. You are men. You have the love of humanity in your hearts. You don't hate - only the unloved hate. Only the unloved and the unnatural - don't fight for slavery, fight for liberty."

Stacmon VI - Moon 1 - Freedom Extension Storage
Somewhere in the lower levels of the station...

The half-lit corridor was quiet, unused save for squatters and other unsavory types who preferred that their business go largely unnoticed. Graffiti ran down the length of one side, with heaps of trash and other bits of salvage piled up against the other. A small alcove revealed some kind of hab-unit, its reinforced door held open by a slender figure.

"I've seen your kind come through here plenty enough, but you're different." said a demure voice in the abandoned corridor.

"Am I now?" allowing himself a slight smirk, the gruff looking man turned his attention back to the datapad. He completed the ISK transfer and began reading through what she had asked him to look over.

The young woman's gaze was settled on him, but her eyes seemed far away. "Yeah, you're... nice."

Troubled by her description of him, he closed his eyes a moment. Memories flooded back to him, a mix of emotions. A sense of failure and of duty to set things right. This woman was trouble. His mind was made up. Opening his grey eyes, he turned and handed her back the datapad.

"I'm sorry, I can't help you."

The will to power is not the desire to rule - a sign of inner weakness: the fear of the inner slave soul shrouded in a royal cloak which must end up in servitude to its followers or its fame - rather it is the power to cooperate which is the philosophers’ mercury. It anticipates the riches of the far-flung future.

For what value are revolutions that do not revolutionise? Of what will we dream when our dreams are realised? How will we dream then? We must revolutionise dreaming or drift backwards, towards this present hell: this lonely place where you how sleep!

He didn't have to look. He could feel her glossy stare, eyes tearing up with emotion. At present, she said nothing and she didn't need to. He knew what it meant to her, because he felt the same way. Most of them did. It was that same burning desire that drove many of the Free Captains. There was a long silence, and he felt as if her gaze could ignite the air between them.

"...but I can't stop you either."

She exhaled. "Th..."

"Don't. Like I said, I can't help you." He cut her off. He made a promise a long time ago, but she couldn't understand. She was just like her mother. Some day, he thought to himself.

"You better get going then... but please, come back sooner rather than later this time?" She smiled.

"I'll be around." He replied as he turned away and faded into the darkness of the corridor. Of course he wanted to be there for her, but he had to keep his distance. He sighed. I must be getting soft...

Teacher: "What do you feel, anger do you feel triumphant, happiness joy?"
Tanteer: "Pity"
Teacher: "Why?"
Tanteer: "Because this is all he will ever have, because his name will be swallowed by silence; forgotten. His name belongs to noone."
Teacher: "And who does your name belong to: history, the world."
Tanteer: "No it belongs to me."

"All the dreams you show up in are not your own.”
Gil Scott-Heron, the New Yorker: NEW YORK IS KILLING ME

Metaphors are dangerous. Dream is metaphor, revolutionary potential expressing itself.

In this one dream, before I found them, there was Jade in a chaquetilla, or whatever, dressed to kill with a half smile playing about her lips; her sword drawn for the coup de grâce. She stands there wearing the whole toreador's 'traje de luces', like ... suit of light or something, shinning in the sun. In the dim I can see the Free Captains chatting and smoking, some of them nod to me.

I want go and say hi to the guys I've only read about; but then there she is, I feel my mouth go dry but I'm able to ask, "Hey Jade, is this for real?".

She puts a hand on my shoulder and looks at me; the way she looks in the poster, enigmatic, like that, and she says,

"All the dreams you show up in are not your own. We'll be seeing you soon Evet." and she turns to the others

... and I wake and somehow, something indefinable remains, and I know that it's mine.
