In Eve and other competitive video game environments, to an extent, hate groups are allowed. It is okay to have a group that attacks or maligns an entire class of people (such as hating miners, carebears, high-sec dwellers, etc.). Hating Miners, Carebears, and Hisec Dwellers isn't hating a class of people for their immutable characteristics.

It's hating on people for making silly decisions and trying to warp this game to fit those silly decisions.

There are plenty of miners, carebears, etc whom I hold in high esteem for various reasons. All of them recognize that their chosen play-style is subject to just as much inter-player conflict as any other style, and that that's how it's supposed to work.

tl;dr Don't be a prick about wanting to be left alone or if the ebil goonis hurted your feelings by calling carebears mean things, quit being a carebear and your feelings won't be hurted.

I have a problem with hate groups that bring their agenda to the game..the same way I have a problem with the anti hate groups who bring their agenda to the game. I don't want to hear about the real world in game... I don't care who you hate in the real world. I don't care about your virtuous real world convictions in game either.

There is freedom in this sand box game to hate on a virtual level... there are plenty of factions and practises to which a player might assign his vitriol - and that's ok. If you see someone using out of game hate ..report them end of story.

This game breeds hate.

Mostly out of game.

The Fanfest Alliance Panel was full of ineffective men (confirmed by women) wandering around angry and trying to be the first EPEEN out.

After 1 hr and 20 minutes there was no one left.




+1 like for the op due to all the ineffective men wandering around all angry and trying to be the biggest EPEEN in this thread.
