For the Devs:

Since this update I had to optimise graphic settings to Performance when it could run on Max no problem. Since this Inferno update GPU fan spins like mad, even making a vibrating noise. - Going into CQ it shuts EVE down.

System:
Mac Pro Early 2008 Model

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
Memory: 12 GB
Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz

Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
Type: GPU
Bus: PCIe
Slot: Slot-2
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 1024 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x05e3
Revision ID: 0x00a1
ROM Revision: 3434

Memory: 12GB RAM
Type: DDR2 FB-DIMM
Speed: 800 MHz

Also there are green/purple artefacts when I open up Fittings Tool where the ship is, spinning the ship "erases" the artefacts.

The game plays fine but now has very demanding graphical coding.

Hope this helps and you can fix it soon^^

Have you tried making sure v-sync is on (interval one)?
