Amarr space has been filled lately with bots as i guess they moved away from caldari space as a preperation for hulkaggedon.
6-7 years old chars in npc corps.

At least it sounds like CCP will do regular bot sweeping now or starting soon from what I recall instead of just major bot sweeps every now and than so hopefully botting will die down more. And OP you could also try to mess with the bot and try knocking them away from their astroid their mining to see if they move back to it or stay in that location. If their using a named jetcan with the industrial ship you can try looting it and ejecting your own with the same name and making sure its jetted to roughly the same location in an attempt to get he bot to loot it so you can destroy it freely.

It may work it may not, I don't have much experience with dealing with bots, as the closest I've dealt with is dumb people in low sec (small and medium weapons on a BS with mining lasers comes to mind for one person I fought)

A lot of "refugee bots" turn up in highsec whenever CCP does a purge.

Anyone seen the DED complex Tengue yet? Tanks all aggro (DED 4/10) and goes straight for the boss, gets the goods, warps out.


Tried to bump one to keep it from warping out. Better luck next time.

I would have can flipped for the free kill on the hauler. Then let the Hulk mine for you. Nothing like free ore. Once you get tired fo this, or have to leave, or just need some kicks, then you pop him.

It does not always work. Most bot programs these days either use a secure can in 0.7 or don't use a can which is not owned by them.
I killed a bot hulk not long ago in 0.5 with its hauler putting up a secure can, and just sitting next to it forever since the hulk wasn't mining anymore. Eventually the hauler got killed by the rats.

Yesterday I found some botters in Amarr high sec, just a few jumps away from Amarr solar system. I watched them mining for some time and even when I started to flip their cans, they didn´t move away, they even dropped a new can and continued mining as if nothing had happened.

So, before I report them, I´d like to gank them. Unfortunately, I´m not that much into suicide ganking, so help would be appreciated.

As for the OP, good riddance to da evil bot. While I generally deplore the loss of miner hulks ( means more cost for me to buy minerals, though ofcourse it's compensated for by increased demand on ganking ships ), killing bots is a good thing. I guess with the rising price of minerals, highsec mining bots have become lucrative.

Wipe them out... All of them.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Or you can mine the 'bots by flipping their cans endlessly... Free income, and you'll cripple the 'bot's profit in that system.

In the future though, just spring for a Talos off the bat fitted with ATLEAST meta 3 blasters and antimatter rounds with 3x mag stabs (named for the extra speed/dmg).
