First error for todays update

Downloaded the newest update as normal and got the following error :

Can't write D:\EVE\launcher\avcodec-53.dll

Congratulations CCP great job =D

EDIT:

Repair tool used and a ton of missing blocks, ending up with me downloading a 292mb worth of files

Very good job CCP.

At least you can still boot your computer and load your OS. As far as patch day bugs this one is miniscule for CCP :)

i hear it's always good to try and run an update before it's done being deployed.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

If your pc managed to lose a few bits and bytes of your eve install it's your fault not CCPs. Just sayin

You expected different? Based on what past experience? You know there are always patches to fix the patch that broke the previous half-assed "try it now and see if it works" patch.

Missing data? You know, that usually means that your hard drive is failing, given that no one else is having issues with the patch.

Worked fine for me.

if its your FIRST error - youre lucky... many of us need to download a (whole) new client because patcher cant patch the game....

Edit: I was away that time, downloading the patch a week later or so. LOL
