Are the market changes affecting your PVP habits?

Do you intend to change your pvp habits with the increase in ship prices? For example, will you be choosing to fly cruiser hulls and below when a Tier 2 BC hull is nearly 60M a pop?

It's affecting my killboard by making everyone's kills worth moreBig smile

EDIT: I usually fly BC hulls and smaller, and I'm mainly using the Drake and Vagabond. So no real habits changed.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

It's been a while since I lost a ship, so I haven't really felt the new prices yet.

Mfume, I have no idea what this means, but henceforth I shall call Deen a 'disgusting impoverished space hobo' on comms. Thank you!

And to answer the disgusting space hobo's question, yes, it does. Since I too am part of the poor, unwashed masses, I can no longer afford Myrms or Hurricanes. So, much to the delight of every FC in GalMil, I shall only fly shield rail Brutix in fleet.

My play style won't change much. I'm always in cruiser and battlecruiser sized vessels. If anything I will have to grind cash more often.

Having looked at my hanger, ur no not really. Seeing as making isk is still insanely easy.

Also don't care if Drakes reach a 100m, not being a spaceships for dumbies pilot.

I have been sticking to Faction and T2 hulls for months now.. so it really has not effected me at all. Actually, since I am making more $ since the market changes, and the price of my ships has not significantly gone up, I can pew pew more.

I imagine you'll see more t2 hulls now, since the price difference will be smaller. More HAC fleets, fewer BC fleets.

Interestingly, wasn't the big complaint that BCs are OP for what you pay? Funny how that worked out, though I'm not sure if I'd credit CCP with that much cunning.

Not really...

I can make ISK really easily, but honestly I'm usually to busy PVPing to care about it until I'm broke.

Flying expensive ships doesn't excite me as much as something cheaper. For example I prefer a Wolf over a Hurricane and a Hurricane over Vaga.

The cheaper the ship, the more fights you can afford and in most cases, the more fights you will get.

Not at all, aside from the fact that I'm more willing to fly some faction ships as the price differences are very little now when compared to a BC.

I was worried about our guys not being able to afford to fly BC's, but when I asked they pretty much all said they are making enough ISK to replace them.

Yes!

I had this conversation with my corpies the other night. It doesnt matter if you have billions of isk stocked away. You proabbly dont care and buy some for inventory when the price does shy rocket.

Just to give you an example a T2 fitted drake is costing about 80m.

80m out of a 1.5b wallet is a big chunk. You never know how quickly that drake will die or live. It may not even be your fault.

You jump through into a blob, get tripple webbed and scrammed. GL GF bye bye isk.

Even the AF are getting riduclous. 30m for a hull?!?!?! Dang AFs can cost between 50-60m a pop now.

You can bet your butt I will be bringing more t1 cruiser hull fights out due to this isk problem. Heck I ran faction missions for the first time in about 3 months just to get some "free" hookbills

I've been flying cheapy t1 fit Merlins more often.

If the insurance scaled with market cost or CCP seeded a heap of minerals to 'reset' the market it would make life easier.

The big upside is that Navy Scorps were cheap in comparison to a Tier3 battleship.
A few weeks ago it was ROKHs for $220 mil or a Navy Scorpions for $265 mil. My prediction that navy scorps would get cheaper than rokhs did not come true, but it came close.

As I am a King among the "disgusting impoverished space hobo" demographic, yes: I think I will downgrade my Taranis' to Atrons and my Abaddons to Mallers. Pretty much the same thing, right?

I think I'll be okay for awhile.

My biggest problem with PvP right now is the fact that I am on satalite internet so I don't get the jump on anyone, and most times when my ship gets popped I am podded before I even see my ship explode.

I do try to fly cheap as possible, save for a few special toys.

Sure as hell I'm not forking out 150m for a regular Megathron. Navy ones are still around 500m. Nor I'm paying 100m for a good old Domi.

Yesterday near Ammar: 250m for a Sleipnir = Sleipnir not sold.

I'll do with the contents of my hangars for now, for the most part. ISK might be easy to earn, yes. And no, I'm not a space hobo, but there IS a point where things become ridiculous, and 60m for a T2 fitted Ishkur is precisely that.

If I had Chribba's wallet, I'd still not pay for it. It's not a matter of being able to afford it or not.
