Is it safe? Seems to be some sort of Raffle/Lotto site, but I am still weary of it. It's marked as a Fansite, but is it EVE sanctioned?

Nothing can be EVE sanctioned. A game cannot sanction anything.


Anyway, if in doubt, don't do it.

Raffle/lotto site = scam.

Then again, if you're stupid enough to gamble in a pure rng game where you can't effect the outcome, you're stupid enough to ignore our warnings and do it anyway.

It's being advertised in-game the same way that Phaser was advertised (chat spam) so I'm guessing scamorama.

But then again I don't blink either, despite it having a "good" reputation.

It's being advertised the way it is, because they have a referral system. Where the person that refers you gets a percentage of how much you win (without removing anything from you).

So spamming it makes sense for the people who are referring you.

I can't say if it's a scam or not though. Worst case you sign up (use a different password from /everything/) and use the free money only. Withdraw the moment you go above ten. Or walk away if you get nothing.

I am SO tired of this crappy lottery or whatever it is. And I haven't even clicked at their link once.

Their spamming is worse than the Chinese ISK sellers back then and they show absolutely no remorse or any kind of reaction to protest.

Who runs it anyway? It's winded up exactly like the Ships of Eve crap. Same annoyance level of spam in all system channels. And wasn't the creator of Ships of Eve banned for good? (Though not for spam but for much much worse things.)

Eve Alopalous, its creator and the noobs who spam for it, here's to you, wholeheartedly and much more polite than I'd say it in person: Get lost. Go play with something toxic. Blink

It is a completely legit service. The only thing you guys are trying to define as a scam is gambling.

The site is a service that can generate more isk than if it were a scam.

No part of the site is manipulated and text file results are generated as soon as the raffle has it's winner chosen.

If I were here to scam, the site would not have grown as quickly as it did.
I even give away all of the profit I make as I barely fly around in eve as I am a market character.

There is indeed a referral system and that IS why people seem to be using bots to refer. It isn't me or the site that asked these members to spam using bots. That is their decision and just as much as CCP, I cannot do anything to figure out who is using a bot and who is not.

Other than that, site is a lot of fun and costs less than Somer Blink to play.

Please don't hate on something simply because you don't understand it.
If you have not been scammed by the site, stop calling it a scam.
People are here to ask if it is in fact a scam, not for your opinion on what gambling is.

As a total outsider to the site ive tried it and its legit. Owner Is friendly and receptive to casual conversations\ideas. Won some lost some. come with an open mind and decide for yourself if this type of gambling site is for you!

lol, but really, after the posts here, and some of my own research on the matter, I might just give it a ****. not gonna say I fully trust it without first trying it (would be fool otherwise), Although truthfully, with my luck, I;ll end up losing the meager funds I do have ROFL!! >_< .

I prefer evealopalous to any other raffles the community is great and the people running it constantly give away prizes and ward members it is a very fun time killer on eve

Odd how yours is the only one that has automated spam bots advertising it, and every other service out there polices their users just fine.
