eve with FGLRX driver

Has anyone managed to get EVE working in wine with the FGLRX drivers
I tried various version and EVE keeps crashing before I can actually login on FGLRX_DRI.s

It works with the opensource drivers but the performance is way below playable levels (Running a HD5770 and crossfire isn't working in the free drivers yet

Yes, I do have EVE working on a HD 6450 with the fglxr drivers version Version 2:8.950-0ubuntu1 with wine 1.4.

Did you set any special settings in the registry or in wine other than the msvcrt ones?

I did not do anything special,

Just installed fglrx 12.3
Installed wine
Installed winetricks with vcrun2005 2008 2010 and corefonts
and ran EVE

Your turn, what version of software are you using? When does it crash? Is there an error message?

other GL games work on fglrx for you ? I mean something native like nexuiz or the unigin demos ...

HD 5830 and fglrx works for me fine ....

Yeah I found the problem, do NOT enable crossfire, it breaks a lot of wine games

And well upgraded to a GTX 560 TI 448 so should be safe for now
