Have you ever experienced the awkward situation in which you let slip a common term or ism from EVE into the real world without thinking about it. If you have please do share.

Aside calling real money ISK a few times I have had the pleasure of telling a cashier to "Fly safe" after she wished me well at the end of a trip for groceries only to see her expression go to "huh" and mine go to wanting to face-palm as I smirked and walked away.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

In my home city of Adelaide, South Australia, a new hospital is currently being built. We were passing by the site the other day and my brother pointed at the site and asked if the building in front of us was the new hospital?

I informed him that it was the new medical research facility they're building first. The hospital will be built on the vacant land behind it.

My brother complained that they should be building the new hospital first.

I calmly reminded him that they needed to train Research to Level 5 and build a research facility before being able to construct a hospital.

You know it doesn't sound as funny now that I type it out. You had to be there.
