Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Currently if you have a notification for a thread you are subscribed to. It gives you a list of events that are not detailed. I propose a change to this. Mail notifications will include the subject and sender. Forum notifications will now include the thread name. Also the mail notification should disappear after clicking on it once. or at least become grayed out with a number representing the number of unread messages. This would alleviate the innumerable amount of times I have clicked my mail only for it to load a whole new page. A very annoying predicament. Especially considering the fact that it is almost always mail I have already read in game.

The notification system is just one of many features of EVE Gate that I believe should be looked at. It is currently a nice and ok feature but lacks specialization and proper functionality. For those worried about the amount of time it would take to alter or upgrade this service. Just remember that it will hopefully bring a more useful and applicable service to the community.

P.S. When a dev or gm flag is on a thread. It should be clickable so that a player can see that direct post/s. Sure it might mean less people will read it in entirety. But it will also save a lot of load on the forum servers. As it will alleviate individuals such as myself who have to load page after page to find it.
