Bring FALCON for a frigate 3v1...

Besides. Falcons are not unheard of on the Gal/Cal front. A well know Caldari corp always brings a Falcon, because their blob of superious numbers obviously does not suffice.

Why some of you speak about honor while probably they fight withaut law - condition rules... You cant blame those people in frigates fleet for using falcon help, because probaly they fight witaut any rules, ofcourse if they got rules and they broke it you can blame them.

If it bleed we can kill it.

You can Micro transversal against frigs when you are dual webbed. No way I could have lasted a minute so I was better off trying to get that tail.


You don't get it.

There was NO chance of killing the firetail with a Falcon on the field, and you had already been jammed for 40seconds of your deaggro timer. The only logical play was to get out. You were still making 350-400ms - so you orbit the gate at 500 with your AB overheated and hope for the best. I predict you would have got out.

EDIT: the Falcon also saved the loss of the Firetail, so was very much needed in that regard. Not sure why you think they should just let it die for the sake of "honour"

I watched the video. I dare say that that was a great demonstration of Falconry on the part of the ECM pilot. He or she saved the Firetail, help kill an opponent, and extracted a fair amount of tears.

I wish I was that good.

I feel bad when I blob. I once had 2 rifters engage my hookbil when I had my friend with me in system in a thrasher. He warped in and it was the 2 easiest kills I ever had. Felt bad for the rifters cus they never stood a chance.

as much as i hate you beasty (and i know you know i do :P) that sucks, but it is minnies and they bring falcons to frig fights because they simply need to, or they would all die and be on the forum whining about how over powered a hookbill is against 3 frigs.

they have 3 or 4 times the numbers because they need em, dont expect a good fight ever.

Just be thankful when you get away with only slighlty bloby fight that you win.

So, let's see…

OP assumed the fight would go one way; opponents altered the fight so it didn't; OP QQ-blames everyone else (with a nice sprinkling of racism just to prove he's a waste of carbohydrates) for his loss; opponents win at EVE.

Everything is as it should be.

General isn't full of people who will say, yeah, sure, ECM is uniquely unpleasant, and "enrages opponents" is pretty much the Falcon's primary ship bonus, and the best way to respond is just to (in this case, with enemies you'll run into all the time) know who the Falcon pilots are, and who their friends are, and take some pain to be extra special unpleasant to them. Blue-balling, lame tactics, your own ECM, ships fit for the sole purpose of killing Falcons, and so on.

There are all kinds of ways to respond to Falcons, and you're only hearing any of them just now, with my post, on page 4. This is how much of a mistake it was to post to General Discussion. You could make a game of going back and editing your original post to better-suit the responses to it, which are mainly people grabbing the can opener and letting spill their long-prepared responses to long-dead threads.

By the way, posters whining about 'racism', you're not well-socialized upper middle class people sniffing at the bad behavior of unwashed trailer park rejects, you're this guy. Get a grip.

I thought that the whole point of EVE was that it is as unfair as it can get? Well, almost anyway.

And after having seen that video, I feel that this tear-machine would've easily deserved a few more falcons dropped on him, simply cause of that n-word that was uttered in rage. Swearing, fine. Racism, not so fine.

The whole traditional whine about Falcons is senseless. As long as this game is about people flying in fleets expect the worst case on the grid: Logistics, Dampeners, Neuts, Webs... there's ton of **** and some evil ships in this game ruining your fight the same way like a Falcon or ECM (drones). So just deal with it.
