EvE Online 10th Birthday, your Gift wish form CCP, ideas

Given that its 10 years, I would say that marks a prime time to start the groundwork towards a new chapter in EVE lore.

A few options that come to mind are,

-Jovians start to make more regular contact with the player base, maybe a Jovian station even being built as an embassy of sorts, it could be further fleshed out over time.

-Temporarily reopen the EVE gate and allow contact with the original homeworlds. (Is Earth burnt to a crisp yet?)

-Create a new group of pirates that bridge the minmatar/caldari hybrid faction gap.

But regardless of what is chosen, I think it should be an event that serves as a plot device of sorts that issues in a new angle to how the EVE NPC world will unfold for awhile.

make it a onyx themed gift, make it too parts, one part would be a onyx gemmed item for use on teh character, (onyx eye peice, or maybe onyx jewalry.) and the second part would be a dark, sleek and shiny frigate, of the character race, like say, a rifter for minmatar, a merlin for caldari, a executioner for amar and a gallente tristan, having the hull colors being shades of black to match onyx.

just a thought.

and yea, a massive event marking the 10 year would be awesome, maybe not the reopening of the eve gate, but what if the original homeworlds send a expedition fleet into new eden? bringing with them all sorts of goodies from a set of stars which didn't get the violent end of a collapsing wormhole and subsequent reset.

Visual damage effects, and cooler wrecks..Seriously, ship explode without no visual damage, and thats it.. A free plex. More things to do, perhaps even walk in your own ship?

Did you see that they are doing structural damage for ships now? They showed them in the ff art panel. Going to see shield impacts, and then armor impacts. Structural damage they do something really cool with textures too!

I'd like to see all ships turn in to Oveur bobbleheads, warp tunnels to be replaced with the Time Vortex effect from Doctor Who, all weapons noises to be replaced with the sound of a chihuahua barking and for stations to be replaced with giant replicas of Hulk Hogans face.

I'd like to see something that developed the universe a bit more, another element that we everybody can enjoy, not sure about reopening the EVE gate though, that's a bit drastic considering.

That's assuming everybody is interested in playing dress up barbie, which personally I'm not so jewellery and all that tat would be not something I'd be remotely interested and would probably remain in the redeem system until it finally went away and left me alone.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

All That I want is for people on these forums to learn to spell FROM Correctly. However I too WOULD LIKE THEM TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS, then they could MAKE eve bigger.
