I can fly Enyo/Ishkur and im nearly done training for all T2 gear for frigs. Does anyone know how assault ships should be fit to run level 4s? I cant copy advanced cruiser fits, BS fits or T2 geared BC fits because of the lack of slots and I cant get enough DPS without loading T2 blasters and orbiting at 500m even with T2 drones (i got up to about 300dps) which leaves me a pretty easy target, even when traveling at 2500mps+. Any ideas?

I have used the ishkur to run level 4s but, I wouldn't recommend it, the arby or vexor is better at it. The problem is this, you have to get close to apply a lot of your dps but webbing frigs will get you killed very quickly. So for a fair bit of time you will be keeping range from the frigs applying only less than half your total dps. Once the frigs are dead all you have to do is orbit with your ab on and kill them, but it still takes a very long time. Also, you will spend a fair bit of time jammed out if you dare to do a gurista mission. The ishkur is pretty neat for speed tanking their missiles, so i can see use grabbing Agro from the caldari Titan or caldari fw plex but it isn't that quick at level 4s.

Not sure if this is what you are after, but I have done lvl 4's with this fit. Just make sure to take down the frigates first with your drones. Orbit something big and wear them down. Manage aggro a little and you should be fine. This is not a very fast way to do a lvl 4 but it is a lot of fun.

Upgrade anything to faction will improve performance but will increase cost. But most of the small faction stuff is not very expensive, up to you.

If you keep a close eye out for & clear out things like webber frigs, flying with a stealth bomber in your fleet can really be both entertaining as much as practical.

Just because you can do brain surgery with a black&decker drill and pair of pliers ... it really doesent mean you should.

Just saying ... inbefore the "dont tell me how to play" "challenge makes it more fun" crowd agro.

Yeah if you want to up your dps you're going to have to go up a ship class, 300 ish dps is the most an assault frig can maintain while having enough speed/tank for Level 4s, even that is quite alot. This dps is usually @ point blank, so you're best of in something with bigger guns. If you want to use drones and a small hull the Ishtar is excellent and maybe the Vexor if you don't have the skills but I don't know if that will hold up in a level4.
