CCP Let's Focus

Please re-implement / modify things you've changed/removed.
Please consider some of the additions listed, please consider the word, Hard.

Travel & Ship Movement Changes

Remove warp to 0
Add some sort of invisible bubble to all celestials preventing them to be landed on @ 0. (and watch the game change)

Re-Add & Increase Station Timers - undocking/docking/ship change/etc
No more of this undock, instance re-dock crap. Why did you take away ship change timers?

Increase aggression timers to 120seconds
Make us Commit more.
Raise your hand if you've gotten countless ships to a sliver of structure only to see them jump a gate or dock. 0/

Add spool up timers to jump drives | capitals
Once we click "jump to" that timer needs to kick in.

Add warp drive heat/cooldowns to all ships
*Add Warp Core to all ships, over-use = damage = increased warp cooldown
*After warping there should be a small cooldown period, and a heat cycle, after the cooldown period the ship can warp again, but if within heat cycle will create more heat and possible damage to the warp core, thus increasing future cooldown periods.

Add cost to dock @ NPC Stations
Adjustable based on standings / Corp creation HQ / etc

Add cloaking device fuels / heat

Add Ship Undock range to start @ 500meters
* When we undock, we should immediately be out of re-docking range
* or as stated above re-increase dock timers

Add fuel bays to all ships to traverse stargates
*Increase consumption in Low, even more in Null.
(1 bay of fuel could = 35 High-Sec jumps, 15 Low, 10 Null -- Put those "NAPS/BLUES" to work)

Add depletion/rotation to moon/ore/ice/planet resources
You want those resources? Go find them. If it takes hours/days, that's the point.

Make player stations destructible & Increase costs to build

Make POS's easier to destroy for sub-cap groups / Limit anchorable structures in high-low-null-wh

Spacial Changes

Add spacial anomalies like within Wormholes to All space (Random)

Add heat from Suns
* Sun Grids produce extra heat to ships

Generic Changes

Increase Clone Insurance
Make it hurt more.

Add an Arena
*Accessible from Captains Quarters
*Accessible in High-Sec || Ship must be docked in Arena area
*Allow Isk Betting
*Leaderboard

Don't forget to make bookmarking anything within 100km of a warpable object a bannable exploit ~

Definately needed. Otherwise the no warp to 0 change is worthless.

hi, i am a ganker and want the game to change so i can harvest more tears.

imagine a new player without any isk. how could he afford fuel or docking fees?

warping with a cd? are you serious? traveling is tedious as it is. now we have to wait after each gate for this ****** cd?

and you're ressource changes... hello, i am no miner, i want for them to use up even more time even though i profit from them...

intersting,

i have to say that pretty much all of your suggested changes contradict what I want EVE to become.


while i certainly appreciate the effort, most of the "pvp changes" you're suggesting seem to indicate that you don't really have a grasp on what is wrong with EVE / PVP.


Undock timers/ station games are not really the problem.

its rather the "blob" issue, i.e. why fight when defeat is certain?


so, the question then becomes, how to get rid of the blob advantage/purpose, one of the most commonly suggested points there that i dearly agree with is to remove the "local" channel, creating a sort of "wh" environment where big blobs will be starved out, and solo/small gang warfare becomes more attractive again, thus giving people at least the fair impression that the odds may be in their favor.


as it stands now, most non noobs know the outcome of a fight long before they undock....

Pretty sure we would degenerate into timer-based warfare.

NPC corp for docking fee's, Fuels could be awarded via New Player Experience awards. Simple.

I'd be dead serious if it was implemented. Serious regardless. I hate traveling, always have, but I dislike making traveling easier/faster, clearly that idea has slowly distorted and ruined the idea.

To bad, that's life in the big universe, everything needs to be limited, and random, obviously this would more effect 0.0 than high-sec. Asteroids already are limited as is.

To this I say, read the post, and consider what the changes would do to blobs.
I will assume you were not around or in "large" gangs prior to warp to 0 alone?

In present game the ability to "SPEED" is what allows for blob creation. I know this from several sies of the fence, on the blob side and off. Also get to look at it from neutral standpoints.

Such is the joy of having numerous accounts, allows for participation and experience within all forms of combat

Resources are quite abundant, we all know this. CCP once invisioned limited resources, but with most visions they take years to come to head, and by that tiem end up being a problem, IE the effect of Capitals / Titans on the game, prior to the "present" balancing changes.

Once upon a time it was a Luxury to own a few HACS & BS's, people fought hard to keep what they worked hard for.
Now a days money is abundant, easy, thus that instinct to fight, isn't the same.

Since neither of you are even close to being old enough to remember what a complete soul-crushing grind travelling anywhere in EVE was before WTZ, I'm going to politely suggest that you both GTFO and just use warp to 15K from now on if you think it would be so cool.

I started in phase 3 of closed beta. Do I get an opinion? Speaking as a former pirate, this had about the same effect on my income as drone alloys did on miners. They should remove jump drives too while they're at it. Low sec is a shadow of its former glory.
