Most of it is now official oligopolized with PL and Goons treaty and they give ridiculous amount of isk.

Nerf must come with inferno in may otherwise leaving it for another half a year will screw up balance even more.
It is time to act NOW.

In order for alliance to fight for tech moon they need huge supercap fleet.
In order to have huge supercap fleet alliances need to have tech moons.

It is ridiculous situation.

It was "time" to nerf Tech 18 months ago but yeah.

Titans were balanced, remember? There's all these counters to a supercap fleet ...

…and that supercaps needed to be fixed because they had no real counters. So, you never know… Blink

Yes, he said that.

The pubbies were saying others had more than we did. But yes, it should be nerfed, this was already agreed by everyone.

I am in agreement.

Make r32 alchemy as a first stage bandage to the problem, then introduce ring mining if necessary.

Alliance taxes would be a nice replacement for current moon goo passive income as alliances will have to actually depend on their playerbase.

Eventually this is going to be done anyways so why wait. Implement it soon so the current supply of supercaps can be ground down.

End the stagnation of nullsec.

Yes, this will definitely help! Death to all the supercaps !

Will be interesting to see how things change with a greater need to mine for the highends that are used to make supercaps.

Soundwave said at fanfest he'd like to see moon goo given to active mining activities (read: ring mining) than keep it as a passive ATM for alliance brass like it is now. This will likely be addressed after Inferno.

Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

The CSM mentioned r32 moon alchemy and alliance taxes far before that.

Comet mining was the first concept of the idea of mining moon minerals with your ship and that was back before dominion.

r32 alchemy already works with r64 moons, no need to make a new mechanic.

If r32 alchemy can't handle it all, THEN add ring mining for moon minerals.

The first sounds like a good idea. All about living in your space, right?

I don't know about the second, I guess alliances would nationalize if it was profitable, then it's like ATMs that need a moneychanger.

Why not add Ring Mining THEN consider R32 alchemy if that doesn't work?

ISK should go to players who log in and do stuff

the reason ccp has taken so long to try to fix technetium is someone explained bottlenecking to them and that it's impossible to balance moon mins in the way they want with the current system, and so they've had to come up with a new one

Then hisec incursions need to be removed too. No player should be able to make 20 to 30 billion isk a month easily and risk free in hisec.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

Yes but incursion are getting first stage of nerf and bandages just 3 days from now , while tech moons suppose to be left at least for another 6 months to bleed eve of meaningful experience.

How are they bleeding Eve of meaningful experience? Does that mean you are one of the people in an alliance that doesnt hold any? They arnt even that important in reality. You know you can make billions with a couple of sets of reaction moons anyway right? Its not as though alliances are given the moons, they fight to take tehm, and fight to keep them on a daily basis and teh isk from them is used on literally thousands of players upkeep in alliances.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.
