What the heck am I missing..... Just don't go to Jita for 1 day. If they actually crash Jita (which I doubt), then CCP will deal with it.

On a side note, maybe it's good , getting all this attention. Keeps Eve in the MMO news. And people really seem to like having a common enemy.

They should drop specific loot when we kill them: goons would drop scamed isk and carebears would drop tears Lol

I don't know what everyone is getting all worked up about. The 0rphanage (Ad0pt) has had Goons under a perma wardec since forever just so they can shoot the ones dumb enough to come to empire without a neutral alt. I would imagine they are gonna have tons of fun on the 28th. Along with a lot of other people.

A lot of ships will be destroyed, a lot of people will be Concorded.

YOU, stay out of the line of fire and you'll be fine. What's the problem?

My prediction for "Burn Jita" day:

The goons show up in full force.
Looky loos and ninja salvagers show up in full force.
5000+ people in system? Nobody else can get in. It will be a zillion goons with nothing to kill being watched by a zillion cloaked ninja salvagers in a time dilated über lag empire system.

TiDi was designed to fix the problem of thousands of spaceships, Jita should be fine, though freighters warping around at 10% TiDi might disagree.

I think CCP has measures to keep Jita from overloading, for one they could just drop the cap on logins allowed in Jita or something as a last resort.

That's why people were ~told~ to make alts for it.

You're exactly right, chances are someone will try to headshot VFK or shoot someone's POS. It will be exciting, that's for sure.
