Tech moon imbalance/bottleneck is an admitted problem.

Problem = things aren't right = EVE broken/borked.

CCP has already admitted that it is a problem and needs fixing.

Your argument is invalid.

Short for Technetium moon

Currently a technetium moon is worth more than 15 million isk an hour.

Therefore, a technetium moon is worth more than 8.6 billion isk a month.

This is passive income from selling the minerals to the markets throughout New Eden.

This income is created due to a bottleneck in tech 2 production in terms of the moon mineral technetium.

This bottleneck was made during the changes made in the dominion expansion even though the playerbase warned this was going to happen.

This bottleneck allows the formation of large power blocs around tech moons due to their income which is used to purchase/construct supercapitals to use in defense of the tech moons.

If you don't have a massive blob and massive resources to take on a power bloc you are likely to be curb stomped.

It is this situation that promotes the talk of changes to the technetium bottleneck.

When my alliance wanted something you know what we did? We went out and got it. That's how it works. You make friends, you get nice things. If something is valuable, of course the large alliances will take them. They have the manpower to take and hold the moons they have. You don't. CCP doesn't want balance. They don't want everyone to have a piece of the pie. They want you to look at someone else, say you want what they have, and then try to take it. Balance is bad, and monkeys are good.

I don't fly bombers, but apparently the bomber fleet is good at killing whole enemy fleets so yeah ~

In a game of power, greed, wealth and internet status, we should just understand that there are allways those that have and those that have not.

Moongoo is a ****. Good for you if you have it, dont think about it if you dont. Because frankly there arent that many well organised groups of players that can compete with any of the current owners within the latests gamemechanics.

So just shrug it off, deal with it one way or the other. It is what it is until things get changed and that isnt going to happen for a long time.

Besides, wanting those moons is all about greed aswell so what's the difference ?

You go your corridor but.

This is true, CCP really doesn't want everyone to have an equal share. Sharing doesn't cause wars, unless there are old grudges. And honestly, most of the old grudges have been set aside in favor of negotiating for more tech.

Titans are perfectly balanced, hotdropping 50 of them on your head is a game mechanism working as intended.

Besides, lots of people don't want their tech moons anymore - Tenal, Venal, I mean they're throwing them out on the streets now.

A few things... Tech is broken. Titans are broken. SC remote ECM burst is broken. T2 BPO's are broken.

Now, earlier it was Prom and Dyspro that was most broken.

One thing that might help, is to introduce some new T2 ships / modules / drones that needs moon-goo that is NOT tech, at all. This will move some producers from the Tech-heavy stuff to 'other stuff'. Make 12 new HAC's, 8 new Command Ships, 4 new Marauders, T2 carriers, T2 dreads and XL Rigs for capitals and XXL rigs for supers.

Making it possible to build T2 salvage modules from T1 modules in a 'research' way would be nice.

Now, if they just 'tweek' so that these new ships mostly use none-Tech components, that will spread the love to other regions as well.

Then releaseing maybe 50-100 new T2 versions of 'Meta 6', modules, that have same 'effect' as the T2 Meta 5 items, but use other components, and less fitting requierments should ease the bottleneck somewhat, as well as cutting into the T2 BPO cartells.

hmm, meta lvl tech 2 is an idea worth thinking about more. Perhaps they could be tradeoff item, such as a meta 6 tracking computer having more tracking, and a meta 7 having more range type of thing, kind of like built in scripts. It would further the idea that tech 2 is very specialized, while more basic mods have more utility... And they could use another resource as you said. perhaps it could be a new tier of PI goods, so that anyone (in theory) would be able to acquire it, but it would take a fair bit of work and/or money.
