Well done overall. Good facial structure, expression, and pose. The framing is the only minor critique. It needs to be tighter around the face, and the face put into either fully into the left/right/center of the frame.

Galega: Background doesn't fit with the rest, also there seems to be something wrong when I look at the pic, something with the arms, proportions seem off. Face is also rather bland. 4/10 (sorry for the bad rating, but it's just not appealing Sad )

I'd like more opinions. ;[

Jandice: All the hours I spent looking through avatars and editing mine have changed the way I see them. It's hard to pin down a rating, so I won't try to quantify. But the shot is unique... looks hard to pull off, and there's nothing terribly unrealistic about her. Any flaws in your avatar could be attributed to the character and hence be interpreted as expressive.

On first sight she's definitely expressive. Looking a bit she lost her soul, but not like the dolls you see as avatar. She got a skin texture which is good too. Burned marks, which somehow fits with her expression. I understand you didn't want a cutie for the pose but more a pic of her inner self. An easy 9/10
