Not sure what I did, but my chat windows have different transparencies then my Market, Ships, Items, etc. I've messed with the setting, but it does not update the Chat windows. It affects one of my computers only so it is a local setting, but I've dug through them all and cannot find the related one. Any idea where this is or how I change it to match my current Transparency for all my other windows?

Click the pin/unpin button?

When you "Pin" a window it becomes quite transparent when compared to an "unpinned" window. There is also a setting in the options to allow "Pinned" windows to be locked so you cannot accidently move or resize them. You would have to "Unpin" them to make any changes to location or dimensions of the window. You can still interact fully with anything in it including the text input/text box/people list separators.

Sounds like the bug that I've bug-reported a few times in the past few months. (It broke in one of the Crucible patches in December.)

When you first login, and you have a window (such as local) pinned and transparent - it doesn't work when you first login. The area displaying the chat history and the area displaying the player list will have an opaque background.

You have to un-pin and then re-pin the window in order to get those 2 areas transparent like they should be.

Derp on me! Never thought of that. I was under the impression if a window was pinned you could not move it, but I could with this one. Thank you for correcting my failure.
