Singularity on Mac

Been trying all day to get Singularity on my mac, seems pretty much impossible. Every time to launch it, it either loads up Crucible and tranquility, or it loads up Inferno and tranquility, but the server is an incompatible version, or it says that the singularity server is down and when it launches the login screen it just says checking status on server and version, or it simply fails to launch all together. I have been trying since 9am to get this to work, it is now 5pm and i am about ready to throw my mac out a window. i have posted for help in the Macintosh forum, and the test server forum, but no one either knows how to help or they just dont want to. So someone please help me out here.

thanks for any ideas.

Had the same problem. Petitioned ccp and a GM said they can't do anything officially. He suggested we post on test server feedback and hope for the best. Sad

You have to have a computer to access Singularity.

Saving this page to use against future MAC fanboys who claim MACs never have problems.

Why would your media access control have a problem?
It's just a number — it would have to be the network adapter that has a problem.

Also, do hardware identification numbers have fanboys these days?! That's… pretty weird. Ugh

Don't forget the girls.

But seriously, if someone buys a Mac, they buy it because they want something that is different.

Some advice here that you might not want to hear, or perhaps won't even believe/understand:
THERE IS NOTHING A MAC CAN DO, THAT A PC CAN'T ( besides be more expensive ) and THERE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN LOT'S OF THINGS PC's CAN DO, THAT MAC's CAN'T.

Now sure, the next poster might think he or she knows better, but no, it's the truth, so deal with it.

On another note, i quit my last job, because they decided to switch to mac.
If you can't comprehend why, try looking at this for example:
200 new pc's cost 200 x 600 euro's ( average price ) = 120.000 euro's.
200 new mac's cost 200 x 1300 euro's ( which was the exact price of the mac's in question ) = 260.000 euro's

So boss, you couldn't just raise my salary??

People always think the best use of capital is to raise their salaries. You don't hear a whisper about job performance and actually deserving a raise. We all know you're working out of the goodness of your heart, anyway. Buck up!
Don't sully the idealism!

(It takes a MAC user to try "all day" to get it to do something it clearly isn't going to do. Better to feel messiantic than do something that makes sense.)

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

But i got a new job, which did give me a higher salary, which is actually only 1% above average, whereas my last job was 5% below it.

Statisticians use statistics much like a drunk uses a lamppost; more for propping themselves up than for illumination.

Count the amount of people that work in that sector, add up all their salary's, divide by amount of people, get average salary.
What's wrong with that?

I know exactly what the problem is.

You bought a mac for gaming.

Neh, that's just a side track.
It's because we want to be productive all day. Not some moments of a day .

Edit: without trolling or baiting: OP, check the macintosh forum. If you have any Mac related questions you are better of there then (as you can read) here.

I thought the whole concept about a Mac was its sleek design and out-of-box experience. Talk about hassle!

One would think so, but then you have a look at the horror that is, say, a Dell workstation compared to a Mac Pro, and suddenly the world is turned upside down (well... as long as you're not stupid enough to buy your RAM from Apple, but Dell's prices are almost as obscene in that segment),
