The pilot returned from battle. Armor and hull badly damaged, barely able to see out the window. Amazingly it survived the blasts. Guess it's my lucky day.

As we came out of warp I took this photo. The docking crew had us orbiting for a while, until they cleared the entrance.
I'm not coming back to this ship.

Alright, enough with the RP, this is what I imagine New Eden looking like from a crew members perspective.
The background isn't epic, but it's what I could muster finding online, after having worked hard at the window part.
Will definitely be using a bigger scene some time, when I've found something suitable. I still think this looks nice though, especially considering what I started with.
Here's a comparison with the source images I used.

What do you think?

Oh I almost forgot - I know it's very dark, but so is Eve, and I made this at night with dimmed lights. If you can see past the darkness, I'll be happy :)

Very nicely done ♥ It's nice to pay homage to the billions of crew members that die daily in New Eden.

Haviing your portrait painted here helps INTAKI Disabled Children ♥

Thanks :)

Don't really have anything going right now, but I'm open for inspiration!
I'm looking for a better background picture for the window. I'm not satisfied with the one I used.
When I made the window by itself, I imaged a bigger scene behind it. Got any suggestions?
