Well Donwtown is Central to everyone holding a meetup in one of the suburbs would likely be more exclusionary. Nothing stopping that from happening if you can get enough people in your area of Houston though.

This is still on my radar, but work's been a bear recently. Next few weeks I'll start setting something up again.

I have avoided downtown like the plague for the past almost 30 years... :/ I work at Hwy 6 & I-10, live by the horsetrack... but if the Saucer is where everyone wants to meet... guess i can suck it up :)

Yeah I live near I-45 and the Sam Houston Tollway. I have corp mates off of 290 and in pear land.
