That's a pretty sweet new feature.

A really awesome tweak would be if you could ctrl-click on the names that appear when you right click the icon to target the hostile. Anything that reduces the number of nested menus required in combat would be really good.

Also this:

I'd really like to see warp scrambling and warp disrupting seperated out into different icons - the 2 effects are very different nowadays. Other than that, cool for a first iteration.

Max Cool

Both of these. :)

It might also be handy to move the duration of effects you're under to a circular timer around the module type, rather than the bars. Oh, also maybe a icon if you're in a bubble?

Awesome feature, though.

Maybe not in the first iteration of this, but I think it would really good to have a summation of each individual effect placed at the bottom right of each icon. Say, for example, that you are pointed by 2 scrams and 1 disrupter. In the bottom right you would have a 5. Or if you are being webbed by a few different people with different webs, it could sum the total % of slow. That saves you having to count each one.

It's not needed, but it would be a nice little addition :)

Excellent addition to the game, though with all the stuff being added to the overview, I'm hoping an overhaul is somewhere down the road? Maybe something a little more streamlined and intuitive?

Nice!

One of many massive improvements - those that have been recently received and those that are to come. ^_^

Keep at it!

Two things:

Currently, one can look for visual effects or the overview icon to figure out incoming ewar. Neither of these methods is able to directly figure out the number of an ewar module active. This is not only a good UI imporvment it is also a stealth gameplay change as now hostiles will have more information about your fitting/behavior than previously.

How will ECM be handled? Currently one only sees the icon from successful ecm. Being able to see if someone is trying to ecm but didn't hit any cycles yet is information that should be available. Does ecm even have a visual effect?

While Remote repair and other booster effects are on the drawing board. A cloaking icon with timer till decloak for when jumping thru gates and WH's would be a welcome additon to new and old players alike. I second the need to switch to circle timers as that will clear up the which timer goes with which icon.

This is awesome!!! Only thing that would be cool to add, if only one person is say webbing you, could you add the ability to just ctrl + click to lock target? That would be very sweet indeed.

Great works guys and gals....keep it up!

Funny how a noob ship destroyed a titan :))

THIS Control + Click functionality would be great! Even for multiples, you can have it target closest, or even random if that would be too hard.

What about benefits, buffs? Will we see shield transporters, resebos, tracking links, remote reps, energy transfers etc?

For those of us who align our HUD to the top, I hope there will be more options on placement of the effects bar.

This looks really cool!

What are the chances of it showing who's attacking you, or at least who has their hostile drones on you ?
