Nasty FPS drop bug

After months of having no annoying bugs, its my turn to have one. For the last few days Ive found that a few minutes after logging in my FPS will drop by a factor of two or more, even when I'm just sitting in front of the station. It drops and stays down. After longer periods of time additional drops occur. After 4 hours or so, Ive had the rate drop to 20% of the rate I had at log in. Tripple boxing a mining op, I got down to 2 fps.

Restarting the client does not fix it, I got to re-start the computer.

I tested the latest Sisi build, and it does the same thing. On TQ I start at 30 fps, and drop to 15. On Sisi I start at 60 fps and drop to 20. At least the Sisi build is faster, but still has the bug.

Any ideas on what it might be? Tests I can do?

Anyone else see this?

It has been bug reported.

New info: I downloaded a new client and it seems to not be doing this fps drop. Maybe this was not a bug, but a glitched client.

CCP: maybe we need the repair tool back? The launcher does not repair a glitched client.

Edit: Spoke too soon, my bug is back. It just took longer to show up. I guess I do have a workaround, copy a new client off the .dmg file every few hours.
