Morphite usage per day?

Question to Industry Peep - Anyone able to estimate ( with rough workings ) how much Morphite is used in New Eden every day.


The ket to this is that I wonder how much of the available morphite makes it to trade hubs like Jita/Amarr etc.

The next question is; of the quaitity that makes goes to trade hubs, how much currently comes from Opulent Compound?

Any insight much would be cool...

Close thread in this forum, start again in Market forum. Traders may have better handle on it. NOTE: recommend that the query be constructed as a request for guidance on how you might estimate the amount. Those posting regularly in Market forum know their stuff, but have little patience for those who want info w/ no effort on their part.

Those who reply can be very helpful. Suggest you keep in mind that most serious posters in MD operate with the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. Lol

I have talked about this in some trade chats

We can see the goods on the market, but not what is made and not put on the market

OK some estimates:

I'd estimate that a T2 BS ( FITTED ) takes 1100 Morph total
Guess about 216 made a day. Total morph 238

For T1 ( t2 FITTED ) BS guess 150 Morph ( large guns etc ) - assume most bs t2 fitted ( as most lost would be fleet bs
Guess 3000 units/day. Total Morph 450

T2 BCs 250 Morp
1000 units/day. 250k Morp

T2 BCs ( t2 fitted say 50% ) 75 Morp
1200 units/day. 90k Morp

T2 Cruisers ( incl HACS, HICS, RECONS )150 morph ( FITTED
Guess 4000 units/day. Total morph 600

T2 Frigs+Dics ( guess 50 morph fitted
Guess 2500 units/day. Total morph 125

T2 Transports ( guess 120 morph
Guess 500 untis/day 60k Morp

T2 Mining Ships ( giess 120 Morph
Guess 400 Units/day 48k Mort

Ignoring T1 Cruisers and Frigs

Jump Frieghters maybe 50

This makes 238k + 450k + 250k + 75k + 600k 125k + 60k + 48k + 50

Gives about 1.9Million Morph consumed a day.

How can I get a better estimate. Thanks in advance

Its used in 590 different things. Without CCPs help its impossible to tell.
